Thanks to Marvel_Spider, we have some new information about Marvel's 13-episode Netflix series, Daredevil. While doing some digging online he came across information regarding some roles that are being cast for the series, but more importantly, an audition video. That video may contain dialogue from an actual scene that will appear in the show. It is violent and comedic, as a white collar crook may have cut off more than he can chew. It seems like he is being pressured by Kingpin to do his own dirty work - cut off anoter man's hands. Neat!
"I found some info about the pilot. Its codename is "Bluff", and is scheduled to shoot between June 30th and July 28th. The following link has a list of talent they're looking for, including boxers.

In addition to the above casting, they're looking for people who could play "Thugs and Arms Dealers" in their 20s-30s, as well as 18-23 year old College Students for a scene filming on Thursday. So it does look like filming has quietly started." - Marvel_Spider

"Marvel’s Daredevil" followMarvel_Spiders the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City.

Charlie Cox ("Boardwalk Empire") will play Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio ("Men In Black") will play Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin, Elden Henson (“Mighty Ducks”) will play Foggy Nelson and Rosario Dawson ("Sin City") will play a beautiful female character.

Sipprelle - 7/8/2014, 4:25 PM
That guy's not half bad. Hope he gets the part.
McGee - 7/8/2014, 4:25 PM
....what's funny though....that's photoshop. Yoss uses actual panels from Green Lantern comics. LOL!
marvel72 - 7/8/2014, 4:25 PM
sounds like daredevil will be pretty violent, can't f*ckin wait.
Doopie - 7/8/2014, 4:30 PM
will we see lil Matty playing some blind man's bluff?
Pasto - 7/8/2014, 4:31 PM
Should be awesome.
0megaDaGod - 7/8/2014, 4:34 PM
Who will they cast as Stick and Bullseye?

That's what I wanna know
dethpillow - 7/8/2014, 4:35 PM
wow, that was painful to watch.

i'd hire the girl. i like her.
i think the dialogue is just exactly why TV sucks in a nutshell.

i know it's just an audition script, but that was pretty ugly.
i think i just don't like TV, i'm not gonna be any kind of fair judge of these Netflix shows.
MsDarkPhoenix - 7/8/2014, 4:36 PM
Elektra or gtfo.
dethpillow - 7/8/2014, 4:37 PM
actors gotta act, i guess.
zipping the lip. but not even jumping on this guy, the real thing is that's just horrible dialogue, isn't it?
no?
EzioKenway1225 - 7/8/2014, 4:38 PM
i dont if we will have bullseye or elektra or stick on this show..i think tis show is only 13 episodes...which sucks because i think u can do more..i hope they do more..that is something very confused about
EzioKenway1225 - 7/8/2014, 4:39 PM
dethpillow-i can kinda imagine people talking like that, espeically the type of character this guy seems to be playing..some of the dialogue is a little awkward though
EzioKenway1225 - 7/8/2014, 4:42 PM
also i think the girl is speaking Kingpins lines
MrFridayNights - 7/8/2014, 4:42 PM
That guy can't act
0megaDaGod - 7/8/2014, 4:42 PM
What are the actual spoilers here?
nailbiter111 - 7/8/2014, 4:45 PM
0megaDaGod - Dude, don't be that guy.
nailbiter111 - 7/8/2014, 4:47 PM
0megaDaGod - I'm sure you didn't mean nothing by it, but I can't stand when people jump on a spoiler tag warning and complain that info isn't spoilery enough for it.
0megaDaGod - 7/8/2014, 4:47 PM
Soon....

EzioKenway1225 - 7/8/2014, 4:47 PM
while i am excited for pretty much all of the casting of the MCU..Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil is one of the three casting choices along with Josh Brolin as Thanos and James Spader as Ultron that i am the MOST excited to see
nailbiter111 - 7/8/2014, 4:48 PM
And yes, any information that isn't officially released by Marvel/Netflix about the series is a potential spoiler.
0megaDaGod - 7/8/2014, 4:49 PM
@Nailbiter

LOL, naw I wasn't complaining. I understand that it's important to put the spoiler tag just in case no one wants to know anything by accident

I was just wondering if there was any info in the videos that were spoilerific or if the actual spoilers were the filming details, cause I can't watch the videos at work
EzioKenway1225 - 7/8/2014, 4:50 PM
OmegaDaGod-thats an awesome manip
blackandyellow - 7/8/2014, 4:50 PM
I'm most excited for Iron Fist. Hopefully they introduce the Punisher in one of the Netflix shows. The new Punisher series has updated his story to make him an Afghanistan vet instead of a Vietnam vet so they can just do the same thing.
nailbiter111 - 7/8/2014, 4:51 PM
By the way, I actually liked the dialogue in the first video. If acted well it could come off funny during a dark moment.
superotherside - 7/8/2014, 4:52 PM
Ouch. Sawing off a guys hands... nice. Good old brutality that is needed for a good crime fighter show...

Although, I thought the girl that was talking to him was a pretty good actress just with her voice. Man, she seemed like a pretty intimidating villain.

The other guy was a good normal henchman though.
nailbiter111 - 7/8/2014, 4:54 PM
I'm gonna delete the second video as it is the same scene as the first.
LEOSTRATOR - 7/8/2014, 4:54 PM
I hope that they get Donnie Yen for choreographer on the fight scenes for all the shows. Love Yen's movies, he did Blade 2 and Kill Zone some of the best fights ever.
Karmatron - 7/8/2014, 5:13 PM
I might be the only one who liked Affleck as Daredevil, Michael Clarke duncan as Kingpin and Collin Farrel as Bullseye...

I even liked Garner as Elektra... on a second thought I think I liked the whole movie (director's cut) and I'm going to give thos show a chance it looks good so far.

I gave a chance to Agents of shield and after watching the complete first season I am glad to have given the show a chance, it is just awesome!

Having the feeling that this show is gonna turn as good as Shield
localsonlymills - 7/8/2014, 5:16 PM
I just wanna see the [frick]ing costume!
SuperiorMrGod - 7/8/2014, 5:16 PM
I know Marvel movies are all about including a comedic tone, but I really don't think Daredevil needs any ham fisted humor.
dethpillow - 7/8/2014, 5:17 PM
yeah, i think sometimes i can't see things for what they could be.
cuz not ragging on the actor guy, maybe he's misreading things or who knows what he's going for, but maybe the actual lines would be good if delivered with something different.

i'm weird cuz i really don't like Breaking Bad, and i don't like the tone of a lot of serious TV shows. and i don't like that kind of acting. i recognize it's all good, it just bugs me. i think i'm just gonna have to be a watcher of these shows when they come out and refrain from talking much on them, cuz i think i'd rather something else. maybe i'll be surprised.

i loved Misfits like crazy. absolutely loved that show, every season, maybe this will surprise me too.
sikwon - 7/8/2014, 5:17 PM
The shaky dialog aside... The tone of it, the violence, the intimidation, the pure criminality, the horrible situation. .. THATS WHAT I WANT IN A DD SHOW! I want the stories that should be gritty and violent to be gritty and violent.
dethpillow - 7/8/2014, 5:20 PM
@Ethansmith - yeah, it's weird sometimes even in context, like reading scripts.
u gotta develop an ear for how it's delivered, cuz all scripts pretty much come off horrendously bad if you just read them without a voice.
and sometimes even, your own imagined voice might be wrong for them, and it takes someone to say it right to show you how it could be good.
sikwon - 7/8/2014, 5:21 PM
@karmatron.. I liked it to. It could have been better but I liked it. Was mad that Kingpin was defeated in 1 movie but whatever. It was close to being good, just a bit off. I think this time around we will be very happy.
Karmatron - 7/8/2014, 5:21 PM
@SuperiorMrGod

I do not think they are on that route with DD.

This seems just the right amount of humor, not forced.

More like a mix of Winter Soldier and Shield which to me is great
Darthzilla - 7/8/2014, 5:21 PM
If that's from the script, then I can see the show not being for kids, which I like
Karmatron - 7/8/2014, 5:24 PM
@sikwon I agree with what you said. The battle with Kingpin was good but it would have been better if it ended in a tie showing the sheer power of Fisk.

Yeah this show so far is looking in good shape.
