Thanks to the heads up from CeltiC527
The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES directed by Jonathan Liebesman ("Wrath of the Titans"), and produced by Michael Bay ("The Rock"). The script was written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, based on characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The cast includes: Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Danny Woodburn as Splinter, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Will Arnett as Vernon and William Fichtner as Shredder. It lands in theaters August 8, 2014.

Looks cool.
Phronesis - 7/9/2014, 6:17 PM
The "not being accepted" theme is slowly becoming generic.
Jollem - 7/9/2014, 6:21 PM
looks better than gotg ;)
Phronesis - 7/9/2014, 6:21 PM
I'm also not too fond of the idea of them being created. I mean, if the idea was to create enhanced soldiers you're first idea is to test... Turtles?! I'll see how it's handled.
Phronesis - 7/9/2014, 6:22 PM
Here we go with the non-related subjective argument nonsense.
ALegendaryPanda - 7/9/2014, 6:29 PM
Looks better than Transformers 4 at least!
EzioKenway1225 - 7/9/2014, 6:32 PM
Turtles looks Alright imo..im not skeptical because of Bay only,i am also skeptical because of the director being Jonathan Liebesman whose credits include Darkness Falls,Battle:Los Angeles and Wrath of The Titans which arent good films imo..this definitely looks better then i expected..still not a fan of Megan fox as April..i might check this out on dvd or something..the two films left in the summer that i wanna see in theaters are Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and Guardians of The Galaxy
RangerStorm44 - 7/9/2014, 6:32 PM

I think this movie might surprise a lot of people. I was sceptical at first but they are slowly winning me over. Doubt it'll top GotG but it does look fun

As a big fan of the turtles, I think this movie looks great! It will definitely take in a ton of money at the box office and I'm betting it will beat Guardians.

doopie-definitely looks fun, hopefully, unlike the transformers films, the characters are good, the story makes sense and it doesnt have the trademark Bay needlessly crude humor
Tony93 - 7/9/2014, 6:34 PM
was that a homage to the original designs of the turtles
MarvelFan15 - 7/9/2014, 6:35 PM
Guardians of the Galaxy will rule the summer!
EzioKenway1225 - 7/9/2014, 6:35 PM
i also think will arnett looks really funny in the film..then again,i just like will arnett..he was hilarious as Lego Batman in The Lego Movie
ALegendaryPanda - 7/9/2014, 6:36 PM
I'm probably in the minority but I really like the designs of the turtles, except Donatello. He just looks ridiculous lol
TruePunishment - 7/9/2014, 6:36 PM
Oh Trollem...
Inhuman - 7/9/2014, 6:36 PM
2nd best movie of the year!!!!! First was winter soldier
Pending - 7/9/2014, 6:36 PM
It looks a bit too derivative of every blockbuster from the last couple of years.
EzioKenway1225 - 7/9/2014, 6:36 PM
MarvelFan-hopefully ,fingers crossed,i really want guardians to be good and successful, though i think turtles will do well too
0megaDaGod - 7/9/2014, 6:37 PM
Movie looks crazy but those designs look terrible

Me and my son are playing with Turtle toys right now. LOL
Jollem - 7/9/2014, 6:38 PM
@CeltiC527 - nice, dude
ALegendaryPanda - 7/9/2014, 6:38 PM
At the very least I know we'll get some sick fight scenes. So that's cool
batmanvsuperman - 7/9/2014, 6:39 PM
This movie will be amazing
EzioKenway1225 - 7/9/2014, 6:39 PM
my favorite turtle will always be Mikey, he is the partydude,i like all of them though, raph is the hothead, donny is the brains and leo is the honorable leader
EzioKenway1225 - 7/9/2014, 6:42 PM
i think this is Guardians Biggest Competition,i dont know about Expendables and Sin City 2..i dont feel the hype from them but i thought that about TF4 too and we know how much that is making
JackRyan9859 - 7/9/2014, 6:43 PM
love it...I'll be seeing this at midnight
EzioKenway1225 - 7/9/2014, 6:45 PM
the big fight of the summer:APES VS A RACCOON AND A TREE VS TURTLES!!
ComicsBornAndBred - 7/9/2014, 6:46 PM
Looks decent. Liked the clip of the turtle as a young kid goin in with his sword. Nice display of the fighting style. I'm exited
DeusExSponge - 7/9/2014, 6:53 PM
I think that the Turtles have a larger fan base and the big nostalgia factor going for it. Although my Marvel bias does want GotG to beat TMNT in the box office, I just don't think that the Marvel brand will carry to glory. The brand will surely help it, but against TMNT? I think that's a bit of a stretch. But hey, we only have a few weeks left before these movies hits the big screen. So we'll just have to wait and see at how this all turns out.

May the best bunch of misfits wins!
CeltiC527 - 7/9/2014, 6:54 PM
@Jollem thanks! Here are some others I made

also, looking over the 2015 movie schedule till avengers 2,im gonna be saving a lot of money next year(i have no interest in seeing anything until age of ultron in the theaters next year)
0megaDaGod - 7/9/2014, 7:00 PM
they look like they've nailed the characters to an extent. It looks like a good mix of the original comic and the 80s TV show.

They just look waaaaayyyyy to big to be ninjas, but whatever. The action will deliver
blackandyellow - 7/9/2014, 7:02 PM
It looks like they got the tone right. I might end up checking this out eventually.
