The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.

The cast includes: Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Danny Woodburn as Splinter, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Will Arnett as Vernon and William Fichtner as Shredder. It lands in theaters August 8, 2014.

I sat down and watched the early 90's TMNT live action movies recently (someone just uploaded them to Youtube) and as an adult, they're kind of bad. I loved them when I was a kid, but that humor does not age well. I think most of this reboot's critics need to remember that these movies are made and marketed to the 13-and-younger crowd.

ok..that was funny though idk if leo, donnie and raph would join mikey in doing it..they would tell him to stop it but they are teenagers so...it does look fun..i think this is the last BIG summer movie for a lot of people
staypuffed - 7/17/2014, 4:59 PM
[frick]ing hell... I appreciate that they're not taking giant ninja turtles too seriously. But there has to be a way to have humour that isn't forced and cringe-worthy.
DreMo707 - 7/17/2014, 4:59 PM
I was skeptical at first but this movie looks like its going to be a fun summer movie.

soforizo - 7/17/2014, 6:16 PM
This movie looks better than I ever thought it could. I've been eviscerating the ad campaign for a while there, but I got to give it huge props for what they've done this past last week or so, especially these last 2 or 3 TV spots... great stuff!

Too bad they didn't or couldn't start doing this sooner.
DreMo707 - 7/17/2014, 6:17 PM
@Destined The more i see the more I get these nostalgic type feelings like when i was watching as a kid
Ramiel - 7/17/2014, 6:19 PM
I have to admit the beatbox made me chuckle.
Destined - 7/17/2014, 6:21 PM
@DreMo I feel ya.
EzioKenway1225 - 7/17/2014, 6:22 PM
Ramiel-yeah it made me chuckle too
RangerStorm44 - 7/17/2014, 6:27 PM
@soforizo Yea but maybe this was their plan all along don't start delivering the goods until we get closer to release or they heard peoples cries because of marketing and how lazy it started off
DivinePeaceTime - 7/17/2014, 6:40 PM
*sigh*..."They do karate"?!...

If I'm not mistaken, I thought Ninjas do Ninjitsu...XP
wyatt1234 - 7/17/2014, 6:51 PM
I am getting more and more excited with every bit of new footage I see. The only real problem I have is how big they. Which I'll probably getting over 10 seconds into the movie.
DrKinsolving - 7/17/2014, 7:05 PM
Haha, nice, their gonna fight Shredder on the Roof!! I think that happened before, I wonder if Splinter is involved
DrKinsolving - 7/17/2014, 7:06 PM
And, where's the pizza
RangerStorm44 - 7/17/2014, 7:24 PM
@DrKinsolving BTS Nick Special 9:32-10:00 There you go
rockerdude22 - 7/17/2014, 7:32 PM
@WayneCEO1 Boxoffice.com has a prediction of 30 million OW. Seems kinda low to me, though.
DrKinsolving - 7/17/2014, 7:45 PM
@RangerStorm44

Haha, thanks, I can wait until the premiere. Would be nice to see a shot of them eating pizza though
Jollem - 7/17/2014, 8:22 PM
that was pretty good. bring on da turtles
RobotRooster - 7/17/2014, 8:43 PM
Okay. That scene just won me over. Starting to have some hope for this movie!
RangerStorm44 - 7/17/2014, 10:55 PM
@DrKinsolving No problem also prepare yourself for the most ''operatic''

Pizza scene you have ever seen with cgi according to Liebsman but that shot of Little Leo slicing a piece for his brothers is too adorable
mgeoff88 - 7/17/2014, 11:05 PM
Ok, the beatboxing part was actually pretty cool. It sucks everything else isn't as good.
UltimaRex - 7/18/2014, 12:41 AM
[trailer_guy_voice]This fall, see all the good bits of this movie... On youtube.[/trailer_guy_voice]
