Really looking forward to this show. Hopefully it can be as good as Clone Wars.
IronAngelX - 7/22/2014, 1:46 AM
Yeah! I'm really looking forward to this!
Space - 7/22/2014, 1:53 AM
I hope Ezra is more likable than Anakin and Ahsoka in Clone Wars.
Meady - 7/22/2014, 1:54 AM
Bring it already
Meady - 7/22/2014, 2:02 AM
Just really annoys me they can't get the accents right. Iam from London and the way ob1 pronouces certain words wrong gets really under my f@)king skin. Same goes with the clones in the clone wars they don't sound like they are from New Zealand. Correct accents please Lucasfilm!!!!
Meady - 7/22/2014, 2:05 AM
They have other English voice actors and good ones too why get an American to imitate a bad English accent. Abysmal!
NeoBaggins - 7/22/2014, 2:16 AM
Okay. Wasn't really warming up to this, but the trailer is badass. I shall follow this series with great interest.
gordonh7 - 7/22/2014, 2:25 AM
At about 47 seconds you see a glimpse of a ship that could be the Millennium Falcon.
darklighter1 - 7/22/2014, 3:51 AM
Billy Dee Williams is in this?!?!?
SuperCat - 7/22/2014, 4:01 AM
I'll give this a try.

I hope it's better than Clone Wars, but Dave Filoni (Clone Wars) is running the show...so that's not good.
nikgrid - 7/22/2014, 4:17 AM
@Meady
Same goes with the clones in the clone wars they don't sound like they are from New Zealand. Correct accents please Lucasfilm!!!!

YES! I'm from NZ and it really f.ucks me off, when they use voice actors who don't sound like Kiwis they figure as long as they can do a half-arsed Aussie/American accent that'll do.

KingNTheKong - 7/22/2014, 4:18 AM
I'll be watching the next day online.
StarkAnthony - 7/22/2014, 4:28 AM
Uh, you guys do realize these characters aren't English or New Zealanders? They're from space. You can't really say the accent is wrong. I can see why you'd be annoyed, and I'm not saying you can't be annoyed, but complaining that space people can't perfect an English accent when the characters will never know what England is seems a bit silly
StarkAnthony - 7/22/2014, 4:30 AM
As for my opinion of the show, it looks pretty good so far but I have to wonder, this implies that Ezra is the New Hope - what happens to make it that this group doesn't come up in the Original Trilogy? If Ezra is that important, he should have interacted with Luke before
druzod2501 - 7/22/2014, 4:33 AM
Is that the same kenobi voice from clone wars?
staypuffed - 7/22/2014, 4:42 AM
That was really cool. Might check this out.
BIGBMH - 7/22/2014, 4:48 AM
@Meady and @nikgrid, I get your annoyance, but technically none of the characters in the story are actually from England or New Zealand. I think that gives them a little wiggle room. They're really just meant to sound like the actors from the prequel trilogy.
BIGBMH - 7/22/2014, 4:49 AM
@StarkAnthony, Looks like you beat me to it
Wynters387 - 7/22/2014, 5:09 AM
I take it that Ezra and the Jedi Master most likely will due at the end of this. Their deaths will inspire the great rebellion. Luke will still be the new hope.
I bet the inquisitor will be defeated then they will make Vader the final enemy.
grif - 7/22/2014, 5:27 AM
yawn. eat shit sw rebels.
marvel72 - 7/22/2014, 5:29 AM
looks good in places,so i am pretty sure i'll be checking this out.
Meady - 7/22/2014, 5:45 AM
Technically there not from those country's. Of course. Iam not saying there Exactly from New Zealand or England but when you base those characters on those particular accents and there's enough actors out there from those country's. Wouldn't having the correct terminology and pronunciation be the correct way in doing it without disgracing those characters?? I like the clone wars don't get me wrong but mate there's no wriggling when the cartoon was better than the movies. Just want them to honour what they churn out for us to watch and be faithful to it.
EzioKenway1225 - 7/22/2014, 6:30 AM
i think this looks reallly cool..the characters look cool,i am especially interested in Kanan..they have said this is much more in the tone of "A New Hope" which is great imo..cant wait!!
ndwwrestler2 - 7/22/2014, 6:55 AM
Liking this show more and more.
JackBauer - 7/22/2014, 7:15 AM
Looks [frick]ing awesome!
PeterParker1991 - 7/22/2014, 7:21 AM
Looks sweet. Liking the Ben Kenobi nod. Maybe there'll be some episodes featuring his exile on Tattooine. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed for Asoka returning. Her story.. I don't think its really over
SwagInScience - 7/22/2014, 7:38 AM
This show had me all like " yea cool can't wait"

That is, until they announced Jason Isaac as The Inquisitor.

BOOM. SOLD. CANT WAIT.
Reo5150 - 7/22/2014, 7:41 AM
So they decided to use the original Ralph Mcquarrie "Wookie" design for a new character? Ok then. @Meady I understand a bit what you're saying. That's how a lot of Minnesotan's feel about the "Fargo" accent. :)
TheAbomination - 7/22/2014, 9:37 AM
Looks okay so far. But I've still got my doubts since this is Disney.
MrFridayNights - 7/22/2014, 9:40 AM
Looks just as great as The Clone wars the only thing they need to improve are the graphics.
MrFridayNights - 7/22/2014, 9:41 AM
Yoda and Darth Vader need to appear on Rebels!!!
antoineflemming - 7/22/2014, 10:52 AM
This is crap. Hate to say it, but The Force Unleashed was better. And yes, I'm talking story.
TheBrownHornet - 7/22/2014, 10:57 AM
Looking. Forward to watching this with my son!

As for accents. Who cares?! I think it's spot on because who knows where they are from. It could be a mesh of accents for all we know. Stop looking so far into things. This is way, way in the future.
gaikinger - 7/22/2014, 11:09 AM
Watched with the sound down and AC/DC up.....looks good.
duey2000 - 7/22/2014, 12:13 PM
@Meady, technically they aren't imitating an English accent, they're imitating a central core accent...
RobertLiefeld - 7/22/2014, 3:06 PM
No matter how much the main characters of this show do, they will never do enough to defeat the Empire, because that is what the Episodes 4, 5, and 6 are about. So, I guess this show will just be about characters surviving under the tyranny of the Empire or about their attempts at an overthrow and its ultimate failure. Great idea for a kids show!
Dunejedi - 7/22/2014, 3:08 PM
Meh the Force be with you.
unknownguy - 7/22/2014, 5:16 PM
So a band of merry rebels with a jedi at the helm take on a young man to help in the rebellion and help him learn the ways of the force at the same time. hasn't this story already been told? twice? lame.
