I wanted more future scenes
nailbiter111 - 8/20/2014, 2:10 PM
JoJo1982 - And I want an orange popsicle, but we don't always get what we want.
Maxi91291 - 8/20/2014, 2:11 PM
Stay tuned for the Directors cut my friend
REPOMAN - 8/20/2014, 2:11 PM

With the several decades of technological advancement producing hover chairs and robots they couldn't give him a pair of exo-legs so he could walk?

Would also exercise his legs and prevent both muscle and organ atrophy and make escaping Sentinels a lot easier and faster.

Melkaticox - 8/20/2014, 2:15 PM
@DIAMONDZ ...Why?

@JoJo1982 I honestly thought the future scenes were the worst part of the movie. My cousin didn't even want to see it because she thought the entire movie took place in the future lol (she doesn't know absolutely anything about the X-Men, she hasn't even seen a single movie, somehow...)
XK1D - 8/20/2014, 2:16 PM
Directors cut should include more future scenes if they include the Rogue prison break scene that was cut.
Nomis - 8/20/2014, 2:19 PM
I want a decent X-men movie.
JoJo1982 - 8/20/2014, 2:19 PM
@ nailbiter111

Go to walgreens that got 10 for 5 right now
MexicanChinman - 8/20/2014, 2:19 PM
@DIAMONDZ, well at least they wore costumes unlike the Days of Futures Past comic where they only wore green prison jumpsuits and Wolverine only wore regular street clothes.
JoJo1982 - 8/20/2014, 2:21 PM
@ max91291

Yeah I can't wait
I also thought the best action sequences were in the future scenes

@ themexicansuperman

Somebody been doing their homework :D

I hate how the little things werent explained. why was he re crippled in a new body? why does it look just like him? how did wolverines claws get repaired exactly.... grrr
... bryan "plot holes are cool" singer.
MexicanChinman - 8/20/2014, 2:28 PM
@JoJo1982, haha I'm busting that knowledge like Nomis.

@Nomis, you are wrong because XMDOFP, X-Men First Class, and The Wolverine are all great X-Men movies. Haha.
Nomis - 8/20/2014, 2:30 PM
@ TheMexicanSuperman - Clear the corners, rookie. They wore their costumes in the Present time line.

JoJo1982 - 8/20/2014, 2:32 PM
Plot holes in the movie are pretty obvious and not being called nitpicking

But the biggest one is the whole mystique blood needed to make future sentinel's adapt to mutant powers

Hopefully all our question will be answer next year in the extended cut
DanteSparda - 8/20/2014, 2:43 PM
@Nomis

Too bad this movie wasn't decent, it was beyond epic!
McNyagano - 8/20/2014, 2:44 PM
@Jojo

The biggest for me was Kitty's new found power of time travel. I know people want to bring up 'secondary mutation', but I don't recall that being established in the previous films either. The Mystique and sentinel connection I was able to let go. Rogue aborbs powers though, she didn't adapt. But then again it could be said that the sentinel that attacked Colossus absorbed(?) his organic steel form at the start?

Nice find @Nail.
MexicanChinman - 8/20/2014, 2:48 PM
@ Nomis, I was referring to the future parts of the comic. I know you don't like the X-Men films but what are your thoughts on the films themselves (just pretend that X-Men comics never existed)?

MexicanChinman - 8/20/2014, 2:52 PM
@McNyagano, I think the sentinels didn't absorb Colossus' power because it managed to pull him apart, so I'm guessing it turned into a stronger type of metal.

Selonian - 8/20/2014, 2:55 PM
Great movie.
CookieKid247 - 8/20/2014, 3:09 PM
Cool. The second hoverchair design is my fave. Wished it was in the film.
McNyagano - 8/20/2014, 3:12 PM
@TheMexicanSuperman

Are you trying to say if it had absorbed Colossus' power it wouldn't be able to pull him apart? Also I'm pretty sure that it adapted into Colossus' orfanic steel. Why it did that I have no idea considering the two sentinels which took him out at the end didn't adapt to anything.
JoJo1982 - 8/20/2014, 3:17 PM
@ mcynagano

The big for me is yeah mystique is important part in this movie and is played by now a A list superstar
But I was a little tired of Mystique getting all the action/fight scenes(I'm drained out from mystique knows Kung fu in almost every xmen movie).

Like I mention earlier, it's a x-men movie but mystique got most of the action and she's not even a x-men
DrunkenNukem - 8/20/2014, 3:17 PM
@DIAMONDZ

dafuq?
Nomis - 8/20/2014, 3:25 PM
@ TheMexicanSuperman - I've always stated they are well made films in terms of directing,pacing and editing, for the most part (some contradictory mistakes in the films are so obviously bad it's ridiculous)

I just don't think they are well made X-men or Comic book Movies.

Believe it or not I have enjoy some of Bryan Singer work outside the "X-men' films.

I just think he have a limited view and grasp of how the X-men need to be presented on the big screen in terms of a comic book group in a world of that hate mutants.

And that comes from his lack of knowledge from source material and his pride thinking he can do better than what was established in the X-men 50 plus years of comic book lore.
JoJo1982 - 8/20/2014, 3:33 PM
@nomis

Agreed!!!

I must feel like Bryan Singer is kind of outdated in the Cbm world these days

You kind of see it in DOFP and Superman returns

Nomis - 8/20/2014, 3:36 PM
@ Jojo1982 - I felt like that back in 2000 after seeing his first "X-Men" movie.

gambgel - 8/20/2014, 3:37 PM
the movie had much more potential than what was actually shown and done.

it was a good movie, but not memorable and something for sci-fi history
DaneMendieta - 8/20/2014, 3:39 PM
nope, these are not X-men they are movies about characters who happen to share the name of the comicbooks

Bryan Singer is the worst that ever happened to CBM's, anther proof of that is Supes Returns
Maxi91291 - 8/20/2014, 3:42 PM
bryan Singers X-men movies are awesome. So is First Class .... just wrote that to keep the balance :) .... a lot of people here want to see the X-men fail, Including Marvel Studios .... sad :(
DaneMendieta - 8/20/2014, 3:44 PM
Marvel Studios would really make justice to the X-men just look at what they have achieved with B and C listers before Marvel Studios:

-Captain America
-Thor
-Hulk
-Iron Man
-Nick Fury
-Black Widow
-Guardians of the Gallaxy
DaneMendieta - 8/20/2014, 3:46 PM
and look at the failure of their A-Listers handled by other studios:

Spiderman
Fantastic Four
X-men

I just hope that one day my kids have the opportunity to see a Marvel Studios movie with a returned to home Spidey, FF and XMen
DaneMendieta - 8/20/2014, 3:47 PM
@Maxi91291

They are good Sci Fi and action movies, I wont deny that, but they are not X-Men movies, not at all
Maxi91291 - 8/20/2014, 3:51 PM
@DaneMendieta

Well then well agree to disagree.
DaneMendieta - 8/20/2014, 3:57 PM
Agree mate
Maxi91291 - 8/20/2014, 3:58 PM
gr8 m8 :)
JoJo1982 - 8/20/2014, 3:59 PM
There great movies but compare to which studio is more comic book accurate, X-men are at the bottom of the list.
But after first class, the wolverine, and now DOFP, the studio is slowly getting back on track
DurtyTalynt - 8/20/2014, 3:59 PM
@ Maxi

People want these movies to fail because they are not X-men movies no matter how much you want and percieve them to be. If you can't see the difference between these ratchet films and the comics then you can not be helped. You can like the movies but don't compare them to the canon. I agree with NOMIS.
Maxi91291 - 8/20/2014, 4:06 PM
@DurtyTalynt

You dont get to tell me what I can and cant do.
