In Summer 2014, the world’s most revered monster is reborn as Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures unleash the epic action adventure “Godzilla.” From visionary new director Gareth Edwards (“Monsters”) comes a powerful story of human courage and reconciliation in the face of titanic forces of nature, when the awe-inspiring Godzilla rises to restore balance as humanity stands defenseless.

Gareth Edwards directs “Godzilla,” which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Kick-Ass”), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe (“The Last Samurai,” “Inception”), Elizabeth Olsen (“Martha Marcy May Marlene”), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (“The English Patient,” “Cosmopolis”), and Sally Hawkins (“Blue Jasmine”), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (“Good Night, and Good Luck.,” “The Bourne Legacy”) and Bryan Cranston (“Argo,” TV’s “Breaking Bad”).

GODZILLA will stomp into your homes September 16, 2014.

X-Men, Planet of the Apes, and Godzilla were my favorite movies of the summer. Godzilla had the most cheer worthy moments in it. When Godzilla first shows up and then the atomic breath scene were met with applause in my theater. I got goosebumps both times.

I mean how can you not get excited from this?
superbatspiderman - 8/30/2014, 4:20 PM
And this.

Good but dissapointing movie.I kinda enjoyed it but i was hoping for much more.
Aaaron Taylor Johnson's character was a huge downside.

God this movie was awesome. Apparently Legendary's Twitter page teased "Projects Rodan, Mothra, and Ghidora".

Hmmmm...
MrNiklander - 8/30/2014, 4:54 PM

Grodd87 - 8/30/2014, 5:18 PM
Needed more Cranston he was the best human character but glad they focused on Godzilla
TexasTwoFace - 8/30/2014, 6:45 PM
The sequel is too far away.
GuyRot - 8/30/2014, 6:55 PM
@TexasTwoFace not its not. it gives them way more time to make it better than the first. im not saying the first was bad. i give it 10/10. but i guarantee the sequel will kick major ass.
Dingbat - 8/30/2014, 6:59 PM
Great movie but the sequel...

and by cowbell I mean Godzilla.
TexasTwoFace - 8/30/2014, 7:10 PM
@GuyRot Except the movie isn't delayed to make it better, it's delayed so that Gareth Edwards can make another movie inbetween. If anything the movie is going to be rushed.
riseofloganX36 - 8/30/2014, 7:24 PM
What the hell friday there was a godzilla page and everyone was bashing it know you all love it. You people don't know what you want.

Dont be a LEMON be a RoseBud!
peppy - 8/30/2014, 8:54 PM
For me personally the movie was a huge let down
AnonymousGuy - 8/30/2014, 9:16 PM
Nice nod to the crew of Lucky Dragon 5
beane2099 - 8/30/2014, 9:59 PM
The graphic novel that serves as a prequel to the movie shows Godzilla was chasing another monster to the Bikini Atol. In that book only one guy believed that Godzilla existed. Everyone else thought it was just myth and legend. but I guess nothing in that video precludes any of that.

@AnonymousGuy

Yeah, I dug that too.
MightyZeus - 8/30/2014, 10:09 PM
This film was awesome.

I can't wait to own it on blu ray. It's def in my top 5 of this year.
Maia87 - 8/31/2014, 12:04 AM
Good marketing but awful movie.
AlfredWayne30 - 8/31/2014, 3:17 AM
Not a bad movie I enjoyed It jus needed more Godzilla
LubedUp - 8/31/2014, 7:50 AM
2014: Cap 2 > GOTG > Apes > Godzilla > Xmen > some other things > ASM2
OdinSon2k14 - 9/1/2014, 9:08 AM
I'll get Cap 2, but that's just a "70's political thriller" with some action. Godzilla, true 55" 3D goodness, is what I'm looking forward to a lot more :).
