THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN to Film Re-Shoots in Los Angeles This Week

On Location Vacations has been contacted by several sources that have indicated what type of scene they need to re-shoot for Marc Webb's Spider-Man.

No specific location is named, but the sources have informed OLV that the scene will involve a concert. They anticipate that the scene will be filmed later in the week, most likely at night on Friday. Just yesterday Andrew Garfield and possible girlfriend and cast mate Emma Stone were seen in the Los Angeles area. So, it's quite possible the scene could involve Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. We'll keep you updated if we come across any new details.

We’re hearing from several sources that Fiona’s Tale, the movie’s working title, will be filming re-shoots this week in L.A. Though we don’t have an exact location yet, it sounds like they will be filming a concert scene (so they will probably be filming on location) sometime later this week, most likely on Friday night. - onlocationvacations.com

A concert? Quite possibly the location of Peter and Gwen's first date. In the Comic Con footage Peter asks Gwen out on a date. Anyways, all the reshoots just show you that they're aiming to make a spotless masterpiece with this movie :D

i will definitely keep my eyes open... but from all the location shots ive seen already, it wont be anything 'spectacular' anyway...

@Nuck Peter Pecker is a whole different kind of leading man. You'll be approached by a shady guy carrying a hand cam offering you 20 dollars to go to a hotel room with him dressed as Spider Man in order to make you a "star".

@Sarah - they already did re-shoots in NYC...Now they're moving locations? How much footage did they not get right the first go around? This doesn't make me confident that this will be good.

It would be cool if they did reshoots without that dumbshit Andrew Garfield. My interest would actually increase slightly for this movie... but not enough to see it in theaters

@Batmanrise You sound kind of stupid when you say them doing reshoots makes you less confident that the movie would be good. It should make you more confident since they are actually taking their time to give you a quality movie lol.

Agreed, scorpion. The reboot was totally unnecessary. With the current Peter Parker (hopefully killing off Mary Jane to have him hook up with Gwen Stacey), the Spiderman movies were doing pretty well. Except for just about the majority of Spiderman III.

But I'm willing to see what the reboot looks like.

The ironic thing about the popular Spider-man3 hate is this; it's still a better made CBM than most of the CBMs of recent. It's a top notch production regardless of comic fans standards.

As much as I didn't like SM3, I really saw no point in rebooting the franchise. I remember when they were tossing around the idea that this new SM movie was going to be a story in between SM1 & SM2. I actually think I would have been ok with that but to reboot the whole thing? A lot of people still mention the SM movies as being some of their favorite CBMs.

Up until this point, I've been optimistic for the reboot. Now I'm starting to get a little pissed. The reshoots don't bother me. I used to get worked up about it, but as the years go by I realize that lots of movies do reshoots late in the game, and often times the movie comes out okay. I don't really keep track of it anymore. Maybe I'm wrong on this, I don't know.

I will say however, that Sony's inability to do damage control is upsetting. The Pez image was leaked, Sony says nothing. The early concept art was leaked, they say nothing. Do they not care how the new film is received? Even if we were to assume the worse of them, which is that they're motivated solely by greed, you'd think that they'd try and turn as big a profit out of this as possible. It feels like they're just sitting on their asses and watching as the public perception goes to hell. I understand if the CG work is going to take a while, but the least they could do is release a poster. Its been 6 months since the teaser, but there's no word on when the next trailer will be out.
