This actually looks like the vampires in this aren't shitty like they are in almost every other vampire movie these days !

The book is amazing, I am super excited about this movie. Probably second most anticipated movie of the year for me honestly.

The sequel? Vice-president Hannibal Hamlin: Werewolf Killer.

Thumbs down from this corner. When my sis flipped me the book, I was psyched because all the positive buzz about the supposed humor. But after reading it, i didn't find any humor in it, AT ALL. Which is a shame, because the whole 'suffusion of humor into classical literature' genre is a brilliant concept (Pride & Prejudice & Zombies).
I saw this trailer in the theater recently, and to my girlfriends dismay I laughed the entire way through. If this is your cup of tea, by all means, go enjoy it. If they had made it a la Shaun of the Dead, I would have too. Based on what I've seen, it gets a rating of PG: Steamer.

Reboot! They should reboot Abraham Lincoln back to his high school days so he'll have to deal with High School problems. Anyways, that Kung fu stuff is dumb plus the wire work. Too cheesy.

all i ask is why vampire hunter? if we're gonna screw with history and children will now think lincoln killed vampires on his day off, why not go crazy? let's make lincoln a racist, cow humping, meth fiend who lives on a strict diet of komodo dragon tongues and jelly bean-filled rice krispy treats. now that is a movie i'd see.

The book was great and This movie looks great as well.

It was originally intended to be funny but as the readers read Abe's history they decided to go more serious in tone.

I just feel like the creators of this thing saw Mignolas 'Amazing Screw-On Head' and said, "Hey, let's make a less interesting, humorless version of that." Yikes. At least they're getting it out before Daniel Day-Lewis does his thing to Lincoln. Wouldn't want to compete with that action.
