Spidey: Man you're really struggling. Seriously guy?

Carjacker squeezes out of the window...

Spidey: Look out!

Tackles carjacker to the ground

Carjacker: Just let me go!

Spidey: Oh god is that a knife!?

Carjacker: Yes it's a real knife.

Spidey: My weakness! N-Not a knife! A-Anything but a knife!

Webs carjacker up to the wall

Spidey: Oh it is so simple.

Carjacker: Wha-What the hell is this!

Spidey: It's a webbing I designed myself, I don't think you want to know what's in it.

Carjacker: C'mon let me go!

More webbing

Spidey: H-Hold on *sneezes*

Carjacker: Knock it off!

Carjacker: C'mon let me go! Stop it!

Spidey webs him up a bunch

Spidey: Get a load of this guy!

Carjacker: Help!

Spidey: Shhh!

He webs his mouth shut

Spidey lunges in to scare him and checks his wrist

Spidey: This could have been a lot worse!

Cop rolls in

Spidey: OH-HOH BOO YEAH! LOOK WHAT I GOT!

Cop: Freeze! Don't move!

Spidey: Serious!?

Cop: Who are you!?

Spidey: No one seems to grasp the concept of the mask.

Cop shoots

Spidey: I do 80 percent of your job and that, that's how repay me!? Huh!?

CoolantTech - 6/15/2012, 12:51 AM
Excellent scene, weird seeing Spider-man run like that though, its probably when he first went out with the suit.
CoolantTech - 6/15/2012, 12:52 AM
and [frick] organic webs
PreparationH - 6/15/2012, 12:55 AM
meh corny
NeoBaggins - 6/15/2012, 1:16 AM
What was the point of the Black Widow Cammy crotch slam? It didn't do anything to the robber. He just got up with his knife. Oh well, the bullet dodging looks cool even though the robber shoulda got shot.

Sneeze-ball to the crotch was super lame though.
Masterpace - 6/15/2012, 1:28 AM
@thewolfx "yeah.. that probly wouldnt of happend if he had organics

im just sayin "

Probably not but he would rather lose his powers because of the "EMO flu".
signothetimez - 6/15/2012, 1:28 AM

tripttwe - 6/15/2012, 4:17 AM
@ NeoBaggins. I completely agree...
PeterParker1991 - 6/15/2012, 4:38 AM
Yes, that is Spiderman. Thank you, thank you.
INSTANTJUSTICE - 6/15/2012, 4:43 AM
Say what you want but that's a really well directed action scene, good geography and a lot better directed and blocked than anything in the Batman films.
zachman2013 - 6/15/2012, 5:13 AM
I am sooooo excited for this!!
Watcher - 6/15/2012, 5:18 AM
NICE! Looks good

Honestly though... I don't care enough about this movie to hate on it. I don't care about the character.

I will go to the theater and see it once. That's plenty.

I don't care about Spider-Man at all. I like Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man.
Masterpace - 6/15/2012, 5:29 AM
@Juggernaut Spider-man would kick their asses :P
EdParker - 6/15/2012, 5:46 AM
I said it before, these people know what they are doing, first trilogy was was a "Test" if you will.Cant wait!! Iron Man 3 is going to be the $h!+!!
NeoBaggins - 6/15/2012, 6:31 AM
Not committing a violent crime? Welp, Andrew Garfield aint playin that shit. Protect ya nuts! Introducing....

superotherside - 6/15/2012, 6:34 AM
"Cop: Who are you!?

Spidey: No one seems to grasp the concept of the mask."

LOL That line was hilarious.
SebHope - 6/15/2012, 6:43 AM
@grif i would say the reason he dosent just fly off, is that unlike in the previous films technically it makes no sense that he could just make a web and pull himself into the air without a large building sky scraper, that why in the next scene thats already been released he has to jump from a truck to a lorry and swing from a height, he has to build momentum. And thats why this looks great theyve actually thought about realism in terms of how spidey could move, swing and the lizard movement and appearence. But haters gonna hate or griffers gonna grif!
Greengo - 6/15/2012, 6:50 AM
Yeah that shit was so [frick]ing whack it gave me a whack-attack.

Mother[frick]er better have more webbing than that if he wants to swing from buildings.

God some of you are so stupid

This movie better not suck!!!!!
Greengo - 6/15/2012, 6:51 AM
I love Spidey but I don't think he can beat Iron Man.

Especially not this Garfield version.
BrickWall - 6/15/2012, 7:18 AM
Robber should have been shot as others have said, also the cop asks who he is... Spiderman should be the reply surely.
JorLBola - 6/15/2012, 7:23 AM
Really hope not the same thing happens... As Grenn lantern :(
BrickWall - 6/15/2012, 7:44 AM
^^^^^^

lntrn8 - 6/15/2012, 7:55 AM
Spidey is always misunderstood
Ranger14 - 6/15/2012, 7:59 AM
"Spidey comes off very mean-spirited and a douche!"

I agree. When this scene..or a good part of it was posted before in much better quality, I immediately felt uncomfortable with the direction they took it. I said way back when that I wanted to see the wise-cracking Spidey in the future. This comes across as being deviant and mean as opposed to being a simple wise-cracker. Not really digging it.
Greengo - 6/15/2012, 8:04 AM
@Preacherfanatic7: To answer your question.. no.

I didn't particularly like Tobey either.

The portrayal I've seen from the t.v. spots and excerpts from the movie by Garfield has been off.

A lil too much sarcasm and smartass'ness. I mean I know Spidey was a smartass but was a lot more witty than that. That's not Garfield's fault it's the script.

I reserve my judgement on Garfield's performance until I see the whole movie.

This movie better not suck. I'll be so disappointed.
Greengo - 6/15/2012, 8:04 AM
Actually.... I probably won't be disappointed I kind of expect it to suck.

If it's good then I'll be pleasantly surprised and relieved.
Greengo - 6/15/2012, 8:16 AM
Holy shit Hell hath frozen over. I can't BELIEVE I actually agree with @Ranger14 on something.

OMFG WTF he's normally wrong about everything lol

@Preacherfanatic: I sure hope you're right bro. We'll see shortly.
NewSuperAvengerCBM - 6/15/2012, 8:36 AM
@grif [frick] YOU GRIF! YOURE HORSESHIT! The reason why Spidey ran, because there weren't any high buildings to swing on with web. YOU ARE LAME, YOU [frick]ING SUCK AND OF COURSE...YOURE [frick]ING POOPOO!!! [frick] IT!!!
TChallaTchaka - 6/15/2012, 8:40 AM
@ Greengo and Ranger

I must admit, after reading your comments and re-watching the clip it has me dying of laughter. I agree with you that Web-head does look like a cocky and smart @ss douche. Admittedly, there is a thin line between being witty and rude and this guy seems to be near the rude side of the spectrum. Given the circumstances and his new powers, he seems to be acting out a little "too" much. I think that might be the evil spidey from Marvel Ultimate Alliance in Castle doom not Andrew Garfield lol.

Needless to say, this is just a clip so I cannot evaluate the movie just on this. Nevertheless, I did get a good laugh because he seems like the evil spidey from Alliance haha
TheBatman50k - 6/15/2012, 8:47 AM
OMG OMG OMG OMG Ranger14 and I agree YAAAAAAAAY!!!! No really I really do agree with you man he comes off as being more of a smart-@ss then anything else.
thewolfx - 6/15/2012, 9:08 AM
@Masterpace

*gasp* the same emoflu you suffer from every waking day..

no need to get butthurt you know damn well he wouldnt runout as easy with organics and he coulda just jumped away if the buildings were too low,but instead he looks just as lame as batman did in tdk when he ran from the cops after killin twoface.
TheBatman50k - 6/15/2012, 9:17 AM
Yea but honestly the scene where he was talking to Captain Stacey wasnt funny either. And he still seemed like a douche-bag to me, samething with the Basketball scene.
NeoBaggins - 6/15/2012, 9:19 AM
I'm hoping the web-shooters will present a more perilous situation than spraying up some dudes crotch then having to run down the street. People make a big deal about the web-shooters but the element in the comics and cartoon were always used to create tension when he ran out. He's in a tight spot when it runs out. I'm gonna assume there's a part like in the movie, yet, won't be surprised if there isn't.

When you got people praising web-shooters for the sake of web-shoters, you really don't have to do shit with them to please a fanboy.
TheBatman50k - 6/15/2012, 9:21 AM
The one thing I liked about Raimi's films were the organic webshooters. These webshooters again just make him out to look like a ass. I really liked the show The Spectacular Spider-man, now that is a show where he was kind of funny but didnt seem like an ass and at the same time the webshooter thing wasnt overblown at all.
Greengo - 6/15/2012, 9:23 AM
@Neo good point
XxSnakeProxX - 6/15/2012, 9:24 AM
And yet again, poeple on this site lead me to believe they dont read comics. Peter WAS a douche the first time he got his powers. After all the shit he's been through, of course he'll be lashing out a bit after suddenly getting these powers. This scene captures his classic humor, as well as his sudden sense of empowerment, perfectly.
XxSnakeProxX - 6/15/2012, 9:30 AM
@Neo
*facepalm*
Spidey running out is NOT the only reason for webshooters. The entire point of the webshooters in this film, and the comics, is to display just how genius Peter really is, and to show that he was an extraordinary guy long before being bitten by the spider. This point is brought up countless times in the comics.
TayDee - 6/15/2012, 9:31 AM
Most just like to watch the movies and pretend to read comics. Peter did start out acting like a jackass; it can be argued that he's the reason his uncle died. It wasn't until that happened, when he stated to change
TheBatman50k - 6/15/2012, 10:13 AM
I may not be the biggest spider-man fan in the world but this idea that people keep bringing up that we dont read the comics just because we like or dont like something in a particular CBM I.E TDKR or this is completely ridiculous. I dont like the fact that he is a smart-ass. I've read some of the very early Spider-man comics and he always seemed funny to me but not a smart-ass.
