EXCLUSIVE: THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Hunts For Uncle Ben's Killer In Storyboards

Artist Warren Drummond has sent over some fantastic storyboards depicting two scenes from Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man. One scene is of Peter Parker hunting down anyone who matched the description of Uncle Ben's killer.

The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field, the film is now playing at your local theater!

Cool. Too bad Sony cut so much out of this movie.

Sony is actually the problem with the Spider-man franchise. We have them to thank for all the problems Spider-man 3 had as well.

Uncle ben was the best thing about this movie. In fact he was the only good thing. Lizards plot is almost funny if it weren't such a disappointment

Yeah, it was weird seeing him suddenly stop looking for the killer, but the picture is still on his wall. Maybe we'll get some more of the hunt in the sequel. Technically he's still a vigilante and not a hero yet.

Actually, Spider-Man 3 was both Sony and Sam Raimi's fault. Sony wanted Raimi to make Venom the main villain in 3 due to popular demand. Raimi doesn't like Venom and wanted to stick with Sandman. Toby, Kirsten and everyone else wouldn't do it unless Raimi was directing. So, Raimi pretty much said "Screw y'all, I'm doing it my way." He made his "I don't care" film which explains why you have 3 villains in one movie and they stupid break dancing scenes. So, I would guess Sony and Sam don't have the best working relationship any more.

I actually had the idea for a while to make Cletus Kasady Ben's killer. That would make the final battle with Carnage that much more personal.

It really annoys me that people seem to think that the fact he gives up looking for uncle bens killer is a plot hole, the point is that he realises after the bridge scene that he has these powers to help people (do I really need to quote uncle Ben?) not seek out revenge. Revenge will not heal the loss of Ben but living up to the morals that he has raised Peter on is much more fulfilling and shapes Peter into the spiderman we all know and love, other wise it's more likely he would end up as a villain. Come on people I can't be the only one who sees this can I?!

Sony cut like 1/3 of this movie off. For scenes like the basketball scene, lol. I guess it was needed though, to show Peter's new found confidence.

And technically Peter was still hunting down Ben's killer when he caught the car thief. It's just not too long after that the Lizard showed(right before the scene with Pete and Gwen's family eating dinner). I'm pretty sure stopping a 9ft lizard is more important than finding a guy for your revenge in a city of 14million people. Especially when you were responsible for that 9ft Lizard, and you're probably the only guy who can stop him. I don't see why this is hard to understand, and he'll probably continue looking for the killer in the sequel, since it takes place only a week after the 1st movie.

I've heard this "LOL HE FURGOT BOUT UNCLE BEN'S KILLRR!! LOL" a whole bunch of times.
He moves on. That's what I understood from the movie. After the dinner at the Stacys he realizes he wasn't acting like a true hero, so he decides to start doing so. He didn't just forget, he remebered his responsability. Geez...

@RidiculousFanBoyDemands Did you watched the movie??? He stoped searching for him after the talk with cap. Stacy becuase he realized that he didn't do anything to really help people he just did stuff to get his revange. I think burglar will come back in next movies and if not i'll be ok with it...he choose to really help people becuase after the bridge scene he knew that this is the way to make his uncle proud and not finding Ben's killer and taking care of him.

I don't know maybe he didn't forget he just started becoming more responsible and learned that there were bigger things going on and he had to stop it? You think of that?

He stops looking for the guy after the bridge scene, becasue he feels he needs to stop the lizard before he hurts someone it's apart of the whole " great power and responsibility" theme. Sure he doesn't learn his lesson till the very end but he starts to develop as a hero after the bridge scene becasue he relizes he needs to use his powers for good and in the end he also learns thats what Ben whould of wanted from him.

And I know there are some plot holes but the uncle Ben killer is not one of them, the killer plot is used for character development.

No. He runs into the Lizard on the bridge looking for Ben's killer. It was just happenstance.

It is ONLY after Peter learn that the Lizard is His fault (because he gave Connors the formula) that he pursues the Lizard. I felt the only reason Peter was going after the Lizard, was not because with great power comes great responsibility, but because he screwed up and because he made sucha terrible mistake, he had to fix what he did wrong, because anyone who got hurt would be his fault.

Anyway, Its a terrible movie that Sony had to make or else they would have lost the rights and lost out on their cash cow. Its money grabbing, folks, not filmmaking. Sadly.

I love how everyone's excuse for why it wasn't great was that they cut out so many scenes. Hey guys Marc Webb said himself there are only four scenes shot that were cut and they will be on the Blu Ray. Boring movie, bring on the sequel and hire competent writers, and stop trying to rip off other movies. Seriously this film was like if Sam Raimi's Spider and The Dark Knight had a stupid, stupid baby.

Ppl put way to much hate into this movie, ppl go in expecting it to stink, & they come out only remembering the bad parts. But magically when ppl go in with an open mind they come out actually enjoying it.

I went in wanting to love this movie. I have said time and time again the trailers were fantastic, the designs incredible, the casting impeccable. However, I forgot about one minor thing. The script. It was a dull, incoherent mess, and was edited extremely choppy. It had some GREAT moments, and overall it isn't a BAD movie. Just a disappointing one. It isn't nearly as good as Raimi's first one, but it has a lot of potential and I look forward to the sequel.

Also, the convenience store clerk wouldn't have denied a teenager a drink if he was short two pennies. Let's be freaking real. Anyone who has worked retail knows you just let it slide because guess what? Chances are you have two pennies lying around. Short 50 cents sure they would deny you, but two pennies. Come on man!

i liked the movie but was hoping it would be better there where plot holes in the story and the editing was terrible. hopefully the sequel can fix these issues

@Keldor good point, you're right but I also believe that Peter dosesnt fully understand what he is meant to do with his powers towards the end of the movie, because he listens to uncle bens voicemail and what cap Stacy tells him. The eggs and him dumping Gwen also are good examples to his changes as a character.@RFBD maybe that clerk was just a dick? Overall this is the first in the trilogy and TASM was the perfect movie to set up the characters becasue they were developed so well! Thus my excitement for the sequel. Peter isn't a hero in TASM he's just a kid in a suit who learns the ultimate lesson of power and responsibility through out the film. His first lesson was the kid, then forgetting the eggs. Notice how in the end he gets his eggs and dumps Gwen for the sake of protecting her( but we know how that's gonna end up).

@spidey31 I agree dude, don't the annoying wankers remember Peter sitting in his room looking at his mask that initially was created for revenge and after saving that kid he realized it was destined for greatness. IT WAS OBVIOUS HE WAS GOING TO STOP LOOKING FOR THE KILLER AT THAT POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course with some of the stuff you guys post, it's also obvious that your IQ isn't high enough for you to comprehend this.

he didn't forget to look for his uncle killer, he just needed to face a bigger problem in case everyone forgot that there was a 9ft lizard running around the city...you will see in the end that it was not forgotten along with the search for the truth about his parents...

give this movie a break and stop complaining...

I believe the killer of uncle ben is the motivation for peter to go out at night and to do the right thing all the time...to not look the other way...it is a symbol that will always haunt him, that even with his powers, with what he can do, he can never have a sense of closure and this guilt will forever be with him...
