Giant Crater On IRON MAN 3 Set; Plus Casting Wants Goodfellas, Rockers & Goths

A few days ago Iron Man 3 was filming in the small town of Rose Hill, North Carolina. The sets were covered in snow and Christmas decorations. Click the jump to check it out.

Sue Wells They bought a ton of items from our Carolina East Wallace Hospice Thrift Store....last Saturday, they bought Christmas decorations....yesterday, he call me and asked could we open the store for them to purchase more items he had seen..... they bought desk, chairs, ...all kinds of office scene things...they are going to blow them up in a scene so they had to have duplicates of everything!!!


It's no surprise that Iron Man 3 casting needs adults and children of Middle Eastern and Indian descents, but what is unusual is that Caged Heat Casting has put out calls for extras that look like Italian mobsters, rockers, punk, and goths.

Iron Man 3 will be directed by Shane Black, and is expected to hit theaters May 3, 2013! The film stars: Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Gwyneth Paltrow (Virginia Potts), Don Cheadle (Col. James Rhodes), and with Ben Kingsley as the main villain.

Could be from anything, long distance fall, energy blast etc., but that would be pretty cool if it was from the Hulk!

What I'm curious of is if Cap is gonna show up in it, like him showing Tony how to fight outside of his suit. Something short, like them in the ring, Cap giving out a few pointers. It would really help develop and help the viewers witness the deep friendship Cap and Iron Man have.

Plus, I wouldn't be mad to see Hulk in the movie :)

Wow, the casting calls for this movie have been pretty epic in their variety. US soldiers, Asian terrorists, mobsters, AIM scientists, etc. It looks like Tony is really spanning the globe on this one getting into real trouble with just about every bad guy around.

Is there a even a slightest possibility that we would someday be able to see Whedons original 5hour cut of TA ??? Or 3 1/2 ? I mean LOTR had the thearetical cut then the extended and then some 3 1/2 hour version. I know Whedon said NO to that but maybe .... just maybe

no need of trailers for this movie and am i in error or is the word trailer wrong as it doesnt trail the movie.
you dont place a trailer before the car or van pulling it now does one.
teaser ad's or teasers would be better me thinks.
all in all from images and reports thus far this movie does indeed look to be the better of the iron man movies and will be eagerly awaited by all shell head fans. Just a shame the Crymson Dynamo will not be making his screen debu but hope fully 4 will be armour wars :)

Sounds trivial but the gold and red armor is going to look so awesome in contrast to all the snow.

I want a Daredevil film to take place in winter. Just visually, looks amazing.

It may be the extremis. Guy gets hold of experimental drug and goes on a rampage seems pretty likely with the way everything is going in the films.
