Okay I may have laid it on a little too thick.

Total Recall is an action thriller about reality and memory, inspired anew by the famous short story "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale" by Philip K. Dick. Welcome to Rekall, the company that can turn your dreams into real memories. For a factory worker named Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell), even though he's got a beautiful wife (Kate Beckinsale) who he loves, the mind-trip sounds like the perfect vacation from his frustrating life - real memories of life as a super-spy might be just what he needs. But when he procedure goes horribly wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted man. Finding himself on the run from the police -- controlled by Chancellor Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston), the leader of the free world -- Quaid teams up with a rebel fighter (Jessica Biel) to find the head of the underground resistance (Bill Nighy) and stop Cohaagen. The line between fantasy and reality gets blurred and the fate of his world hangs in the balance as Quaid discovers his true identity, his true love, and his true fate.

Total Recall is scheduled to be released August 3, 2012. Starring Colin Farrell as Doug Quaid, Kate Beckinsale as Lori, Bryan Cranston as Vilos Cohaagen, Jessica Biel as Melina, Bill Nighy as Quatto, and John Cho as McClane.

Batman close up - Arkham City

It's almost like they were destined to be together.

But I digress, Cranston is a badass.

@TheGambitFreak man, I like this idea! Never thought of it.. if Marvel ain't putting Thomas Jane as Punisher again he should be Batman.

BRIAN CRANSTON is the boss!

He is a amazing, I mean TRULY amazing on BREAKING BAD!

But it makes me cringe a little that he is in this movie!
He is better than this and deserves better!

This looks pretty terrible! COLIN just don't FIT!
The two babe actors are so hot they sizzle but
they are such bad actresses they make me cringe!

But I disagree with the folks who hate ARNOLD'S version!
Him running with a dead enemy-guy and using him as a
shield was so badass it ain't funny!
But I actually like AHNOLD as an action hero!

The ONLY COOL thing here is the flying cars but that has
been done many times before!

Brian Cranston = total pro.

He can do it all.

Play it funny, play it dramatic, play it good, play it bad.
Unionjack - 8/1/2012, 2:45 AM
This film looks visually stunning and more in the style of Blade runner, Minority report and the Total recall TV series!!

That being said, even watching the clip, it just feels a rehash of a decent film. Effects aside, i really don't understand why they are making this film. Although i am a little interested in seeing if they can prove me wrong! - after Die Hard 4.0 i doubt it though!!
gunndam1 - 8/1/2012, 3:29 AM
cranston should definitely b the next Gordon!
Nubase - 8/1/2012, 3:59 AM
Cranston will own this movie, his miles better then biel, farrell and kate in terms of acting.

Breaking Bad is my favourate tv show and he is amazing in that show and for him to take on the role of Cohaagen just exictes me.

As its breaking bad final season, l expect cranston to move into big hollywood roles afterwards, l read that he has many lined up already.

l think this movie will be a surprise hit and heard its more close to the book then arnies version as its based entirely on earth not on mars.
Nubase - 8/1/2012, 4:03 AM

cranston: the only thing worth watching in this film
SonOfStarKiller - 8/1/2012, 7:30 AM
Cranston is a BOSS! He is Gordon!

@TheGambitFreak-

I never thought about Thomas Jane as Bruce Wayne/Batman, but dammit if that isn't perfect casting!
StSharp - 8/1/2012, 8:25 AM
It's funny because no one would have said that Cranston could play Gordon if he didnt have a freakin mustache and glasses in his show! I HATE when you newbies fancast people just because they LOOK like the comic character! I mean come on, we all know actors can grow a moustache or whatever. Cranston can pretty much be anyone at this point. Directors look for actots, not look-a-likes.
MrReese - 8/1/2012, 8:27 AM
@Nailbiter I see those 2 & raise u these 2

DONT [frick] WITH HEINSENBERG!!!!!!! XD

Best show on TV.God Bless Sundays XD
SUPERBATSPIDERMAN - 8/1/2012, 9:12 AM
Bryan Cranston's character Walter White from Breaking Bad is probably TV's greatest badass. Cranston is a very good actor especially since all the characters he has played are nothing like each other.

He will probably be really awesome in this movie. I hope him and Colin have a fight scene or something.
BIGBMH - 8/1/2012, 9:44 AM
@Neumn, The fact that he did a kick-ass job voicing Jim Gordon in Batman: Year One also suggests he'd be good. Great actor, has the look, familiar with the character. How much better can you get?

Whatwhat - 8/1/2012, 10:28 AM
@DDD

"l expect cranston to move into big hollywood roles afterwards, l read that he has many lined up already."

Actually, he said he really doesn't. He recently said he is gonna start directing TV show episodes due to lack of fitting parts to choose.

Which is probably why he is in this movie, and many of the others he takes. People say he is better than that, and he is, but when you get second rate roles in second rate scripts, you're stuck with a remade Cohaagen.

And I agree we didn't need a remake, even as someone who doesn't think much about the original, but at least it was (intentionally and unintentionally) fun.
DDD - 8/1/2012, 12:34 PM
NEUMN@,
If director's don't look for look-a-likes for
CBM'S then why did NOLAN go for CHRISTIAN BALE
and GARY OLDMAN who resemble BRUCE WAYNE &
GORDON?

Whoever plays these characters again MUST look
like the characters! So trying to find someone
who looks like OLDMAN does for GORDON (who walks
right off of the comic page) is imperative!

MICHAEL CAINE doesn't look exactly like ALFRED from
the comic books but there have been tons of versions
of alfred in the comic mediums (comics, animated
movies) so it isn't as important.

CRANSTON looks like GORDON and is such a chameleon
he would certainly capture GORDON.

It must be a great actor to play these parts but
comics is a visual medium MAINLY and the actors
who play them MUST resemble the characters or
someone other actor who plays them!

Who wants a short scrawny blond guy to play superman???
Bobevanz - 8/1/2012, 2:22 PM
