Wolverine/Cyclops & Thor/Loki Super-Skrulls For THE AVENGERS Cancelled Video Game

Marvel's The Avengers picks up when an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security. And Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. With director Joss Whedon at it's helm, and an ensemble cast including Chris Evans (Steve Rogers), Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Chris Hemsworth (Thor Odinson), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff), Clark Gregg (Agt. I wonder if these were planned level bosses, so obviously you'd try to free Utopia and at the end you'd fight the x-men one, then the FF one on the FF tower level and so on.

Just guessing really.

@BaneSmash They first appeared in the Fantastic Four comics but all of the superheroes and some villains have fought them.Even Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers helped in Secret Invasion.

@BaneSmash: According to Feige, Marvel can use the Skrulls, but there are some unrevealed stipulations for it. Fox also can use them. The same for Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch. It's all in the deal somewhere I guess

And i was just wondering, was this game based on "Secret Invasions"? From the looks of it, it sure did look like that. And tha would've been cool, really.

This concept art makes me so sad this game got cancelled. Maybe if we already pre order it and give them a year to finish it off, it will come out. I like the FPS style, a unique idea for this type of game. Think if you could get War Machine armour for iron man, maybe link cap up with some sick guns? Thor could acquire some Asgardian weaponry?
