The future America is an irradiated waste land. On its East Coast, running from Boston to Washington DC, lies Mega City One- a vast, violent metropolis where criminals rule the chaotic streets. The only force of order lies with the urban cops called “Judges” who possess the combined powers of judge, jury and instant executioner. Known and feared throughout the city, Dredd (Karl Urban) is the ultimate Judge, challenged with ridding the city of its latest scourge – a dangerous drug epidemic that has users of “Slo-Mo” experiencing reality at a fraction of its normal speed.

During a routine day on the job, Dredd is assigned to train and evaluate Cassandra Anderson (Olivia Thirlby), a rookie with powerful psychic abilities thanks to a genetic mutation. A heinous crime calls them to a neighborhood where fellow Judges rarely dare to venture- a 200 story vertical slum controlled by prostitute turned drug lord Ma-Ma (Lena Headey) and her ruthless clan. When they capture one of the clan’s inner circle, Ma-Ma overtakes the compound’s control center and wages a dirty, vicious war against the Judges that proves she will stop at nothing to protect her empire. With the body count climbing and no way out, Dredd and Anderson must confront the odds and engage in the relentless battle for their survival.

The film opens in 3D September 21st.

Pretty kool. Glad they didn't go with that second body style of bikes.
KalEl26 - 9/14/2012, 11:01 AM
It would have looked awesome to have the front end of the second bike with the back end design of the first bike.
nailbiter111 - 9/14/2012, 11:04 AM
blvdnoise - Really? i think the second version looks much better.
QuanZen - 9/14/2012, 11:06 AM

Better bikes than in the movie...
BUT, this movie is a truly visual orgy.
jimoakley666 - 9/14/2012, 11:40 AM
The bike in the movie is MUCH better than these. That thing is gorgeous.

Prefer the second Peach Trees image though.
DoctorDoak - 9/14/2012, 11:40 AM

AlexDeLarge87 - 9/14/2012, 11:41 AM
Awesome! I would have go with that second Bike too. Much more faithful to the comic version. Would love to see something akin to that in the sequel. I also like that first Peach Trees design.
AlexDeLarge87 - 9/14/2012, 11:42 AM
Second is cool too thou.
jessepostal - 9/14/2012, 11:45 AM
First bike all the way, 2nd bike Has a bitch seat which if two judges were on that bike It would not look very flattering

I kinda like the helmet better in those concepts... though maybe they didn't go for that shape because it looked weird on Karl Urban's head... or rather, looked weird with his chin heheh! Can't wait to see this movie, music's awesome!

No. it's not. The official ON-SCREEN title is DREDD. Dredd 3D is marketing:

nailbiter111 - 9/14/2012, 3:01 PM
INSTANTJUSTICE - Thank you.

By the way, I'm seeing it in 2D, so it seem really silly to refer to it as Dredd 3D. right?
INSTANTJUSTICE - 9/14/2012, 3:19 PM
S'Right.

I hate the design of the bike in the first pic, should've used the one in the second pic, or a variation more like it.
KingEmperor - 9/14/2012, 6:50 PM
Damn, Lena Heady's rockin' that bloody face.
Spartan - 9/15/2012, 1:38 AM
Wow, did they make the wrong choice !
That second design rocks.
Danbojohnj - 9/15/2012, 6:20 AM
Loose the Queen seat on the second one and it will make a nice chunky crosser.I do quite like the new bike though.Looked a bit ropey with the first photo but it looks fantastic in the film.
