Be warned that the new Smurfs 2 poster is so beautiful that it may melt your face off, or possibly turn you into a pillar of salt. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Gargamel creates Hackus and Vexy, a couple of evil Smurf-like creatures called the Naughties, to harness the magical Smurf essence. When he discovers that only a real Smurf can give him what he wants and that only Smurfette can turn the Naughties into real Smurfs, Gargamel kidnaps Smurfette and takes her to Paris. There, with the help of the Smurf essence, Gargamel hopes to use the Eiffel Tower as an energy-generating antenna to finally return home. It is up to Papa, Clumsy, Grouchy, and Vanity to return to the human world and seek help from their friends Patrick and Grace Winslow

Smurfs 2 is directed by Raja Gosnell, and will feature a live-action cast made up of: Hank Azaria as Gargamel, Neil Patrick Harris as Patrick Winslow, Jayma Mays as Grace Winslow, Sofía Vergara as Odile Anjelou, Brendan Gleeson as Victor Doyle, Patrick's stepfather, and Jacob Tremblay as Blue Winslow. While the voice cast will include: Jonathan Winters as Papa Smurf, Katy Perry as Smurfette, Fred Armisen as Brainy Smurf, Alan Cumming as Gutsy Smurf, Anton Yelchin as Clumsy Smurf, George Lopez as Grouchy Smurf, John Oliver as Vanity Smurf, Christina Ricci as Vexy, and J. B. Smoove as Hackus. The film is scheduled to be released on July 31, 2013.

This is a movie meant for little children. Most of you are likely not little children thus you have no reason to complain.

LOL and looks like that the story is a ripoff of the Black Smurfs comicbook, where smurfs are bitten by a fly and became evil. and black of course.
lokibane2012 - 9/24/2012, 3:36 PM
I understand mocking it, but why are some of you so upset about this? You don't have to watch the film. I know I won't.

You better be joking.

Problems with your comment:
1) YOU SPELT SMURFS WRONG
2) No one liked that movie. It was awful.
3) *can't, *sequel, *Smurfy, *Smurf, yourselves.

[frick] YEAH THE [frick]ING SMURFS 2 WWERERERQWOERIUQPWOEIRUQPWEIORUQPWOEIRU THERES ONLY ONE MOVIE ABOUT BLUE HEROES IM GOING TO SEE NEXT YEAR AND ITS NOT THAT PEICE OF [frick]ING SHIT MAN OF STEEEL. ahhhh but in all seriousness i know the man of steel will be good and the reason these movies will continue to be made is because they know they cant pull an alvin and the chipmunks with it and just make each sequel progessivley lazier and cheaper because they know the kids who drag theyre parents wont be paying attention to quality. you realize that instead of maybe making this movie set in a fictional world akin to alice and wonderland or oz the great and powerful they are going with a real world setting again because its cheaper and easier than designing an interesting set. im telling you theyl just keep getting cheaper and lazier with each film
