Chloe Moretz Is Bloody Terrifying In Teaser Trailer For CARRIE

"The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White (Moore) and her daughter Carrie (Moretz). Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin (Greer) tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson (Portia Doubleday, Youth in Revolt), but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell (Gabriella Wilde, The Three Musketeers), regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross (newcomer Ansel Elgort), to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc.”

Carrie hits theaters on March 15, 2013.

unnecessary remake.
AmericanPsychoWolf - 10/15/2012, 7:50 PM
Looks alright.
englandlover77 - 10/15/2012, 7:51 PM
It's not an unnecessary remake. With today's technology, the film can be a closer, better adaptation from the book.

Because the original wasn't the similar to the book, especially towards the end.

Sanderman - 10/15/2012, 10:25 PM
never saw the original. is it suppose to be a horror film? honest question
batfan175 - 10/15/2012, 11:05 PM
lots of cg destruction does not make for a good movie. I could believe the girl in the original being bullied. This is chloe Moretz...i rest my case. Noone should ever do a remake of a successful movie. there should be a law against it.
Boekelaar - 10/15/2012, 11:12 PM
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They're all gonna laugh at you
Newbus - 10/15/2012, 11:13 PM

I just love watching her on screen. She is going to be one of the top actresses in Hollywood down the road. Movie looks interesting though, never saw the original perhaps I need to.
TheRationalOne - 10/16/2012, 12:43 AM
Just cuz a movie was good in the 70's doesn't mean it can't be better today. This looks pretty good.
HarveyDent88 - 10/16/2012, 2:43 AM

Spideyguy94 - 10/16/2012, 4:24 AM
As good as this could be I think it's pointless why are they remaking good movies they're setting themselves up for failure why not remake a movie that wasn't the best
imnotwearinghockeypants - 10/16/2012, 4:58 AM
Durrr.
MartianSupermanhunter22 - 10/16/2012, 6:06 AM

I'm not buyin' what you're sellin'.
DukeAcureds - 10/16/2012, 9:55 AM
It's got the right feel. Could be better than the original. This isn't one of those "Lets update it to the modern era" things is it? Because I don't think that would be good for a book like Carrie. That would be like setting Stoker's Dracula in 2012, instead of 1897. It's just not how cricket is played.
CharacterAssassin - 10/16/2012, 12:08 PM
Too many strategically placed fire spots.
PapaMidnight - 10/16/2012, 1:08 PM
Soooo... Professor Xavier will recruit her in the end of this movie? :P
