I'm somehow willing to give this film a change more than it deserves.
toco89 - 11/1/2012, 1:29 PM
I trust Mangold more than I trust Jackman at this point.

I can't even begin to imagine what Aronofsky would've done with this but, GO MANGOLD!!!!LoL

jimpinto24 - 11/1/2012, 1:35 PM
Great pics! I hope The Wolverine is better than X-Men Origins:Wolverine.
Stumblin - 11/1/2012, 1:39 PM

@ TelaVizion - So then he can go on to play Old Man Logan.
B00uWhore692 - 11/1/2012, 1:46 PM
I hate to be 'that guy', but I've already given the wolverine movies all the time and money that I'm going to. Steering clear of this film. There are better X-Men to make movies about.
Newbus - 11/1/2012, 1:47 PM
Ok, the picture where he's standing in the pit with bone claws he's got short hair. I assumed that was WWII prison camp. In the above shots his hair looks the same with metal claws. What in tarnations is going on?
Taco - 11/1/2012, 1:47 PM
No CGI claws!! yes!!
QuanZen - 11/1/2012, 1:48 PM
Looking better and better every time more info is released.
QuanZen - 11/1/2012, 1:50 PM
@Newbus flashbacks. The movie is supposed to take place in present time, but with the WWII picks, and the announcement that Jean Grey will make an appearance there is obviously flashbacks in the film.

pic 3.

Head Ninja: "tonight at dinner, saki-bombs on Hugh...pass it around"

OR

Head Ninja: "Raymond, for the last time, will you PLEASE take that damn mask off?! I can barely understand you!! you are not a real ninja, Raymond! You're from Detroit!!"
AlexDeLarge87 - 11/1/2012, 1:54 PM
There better fly limbs
DanteSparda - 11/1/2012, 1:57 PM
This pics keep geting me exited but I wish we could get some of Shingen and Keniuchio, and some more of Mariko and Yukio.

This movie is looking sweet, can't wait for this truly Claremont story to be brought to life.
nailbiter111 - 11/1/2012, 2:00 PM
HachibiTheMC - those ninjas probably did body shots off of hugh jackman's six-pack abs.
VaCubFan - 11/1/2012, 2:05 PM
um... he got a haircut? people, even mutants do that i would imagine
GUNSMITH - 11/1/2012, 2:07 PM
CAN WE GET THE SUIT?, CAN WE?
QuanZen - 11/1/2012, 2:11 PM
@FriendlyJoShFest I have no idea what your talking about. His question was why in the WWII pic he has bone claws. And I answered his question. This is a stand alone film and has nothing to do with the Origin film. Look up everything to do with The Wolverine movie to catch you up to speed ;)
jimoakley666 - 11/1/2012, 2:16 PM
Brilliant. And [frick] the comic's gay suit. Even children would laugh at that shit.
QuanZen - 11/1/2012, 2:18 PM
Nah I vote for him to make a cameo in his Black X-Force suit.
Jollem - 11/1/2012, 2:22 PM
fox has a good track record with me. looking forward to this. still bummed about darren, tho
Funsize - 11/1/2012, 2:24 PM
I want him in the suit and cowl :(
Superior - 11/1/2012, 2:27 PM
He should find his signature costume here, it won't look campy if they give it the right interpretation like this:

It's like steak, you can't leave it raw, you have to cook it to taste good.

kisama - 11/1/2012, 2:32 PM
i really hope these media ninja's don't ruin this movie for me...
Fogs - 11/1/2012, 2:32 PM
who knows? maybe it's good. I'll reserve my judgement, though.
QuanZen - 11/1/2012, 2:35 PM
@kisama media ninja's...I like that lol
CharacterAssassin - 11/1/2012, 2:36 PM
They're not gonna put him in the suit. They gonna milk the hell out of Jackman until the next reboot comes around.
marvel72 - 11/1/2012, 2:37 PM
wolverine & ninjas go so well together.
Gunjin - 11/1/2012, 2:41 PM
The sad thing is. Those ninjas look nothing like the real thing. Factoid: ninja actually wore a dark blue-colored suit because black gave too distinct an outline. The blue blended more. I just came back from the birthplace of the Iga Ninja (most famous), so I know what I'm talkin bout, Willis.
Ryguy88 - 11/1/2012, 2:45 PM
Why would The Wolverine detail rundown at the end of the article say 'directed by James Mangold (Knight and Day)?' I mean, that's easily his worst movie and the guy has made a few really good ones, like 3:10 to Yuma or Walk the Line, that would look much better in the brackets. Just sayin'.
Ryguy88 - 11/1/2012, 2:47 PM
Can someone please explain to me what reason a movie like this would have to put Wolverine in a yellow or tan suit? I understand they look cool but he's not trying to conceal his identity and most tough guys stay away from spandex.
Ryguy88 - 11/1/2012, 2:49 PM
I could see a brown and tan samurai outfit that slightly resembles the comic's version but that's about it.
Chloefornication - 11/1/2012, 2:53 PM
I'm still amazed by his awesome hair.
SkullFace616 - 11/1/2012, 3:01 PM
Hmmm.. not liking the look of the Ninja, traditional shinobi shozoku were generally earthy colours, not black. Also their leather biker jackets looks a bit crap.

Movie looks okay, I dunno, I just can't get excited about it.
OrganizedChaos - 11/1/2012, 3:07 PM
maybe I'll watch it
