In September the female action star was badly hurt on the set of Alan Taylor's
Thor: The Dark World, in which she plays Lady Sif, Goddess Of War. At the time the only details that were given was that Jaimie slipped on the set while it was raining. Jaimie would later tweet just how serious the incident actually was, "Today I sustained a pretty horrible injury. I'm lucky I'm not paralyzed."
“It was raining, it was dark outside, it was like 5 in the morning — and I went down a metal staircase and slipped and slipped a disc in my thoracic spine and chipped 11 of my vertebrae. I knocked my left shoulder out of place and tore my rhomboid on my right side . . . It took me out of filming for a month. I heal really fast. Everyone thinks it’s really funny to tease me about staircases now that I fell down one . . . I’m walking in heels again though, so that’s a good sign.” - NY Post
Over the past two months the actress has communicated via Twitter that her recovery was going very well, and despite the severity of the injury she assured fans that Sif would not have less screen time in the
Thor sequel. To accommodate her injuries the shooting schedule was shuffled around. Jaimie can next be seen in Arnold Schwarzenegger's next action movie, "The Last Stand."

Also, a new set video has surfaced that features more footage from the fight scene involving Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Malekith (Chris Eccleston), the leader of the Dark Elves. This scene was filmed a few days ago at the University of Greenwich.
