The new full-length trailer for Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel is set to make it's debut in front of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. But before you go and see it I have potentially new information about that trailer which you can view below. Of course since no information is provided about the source you can take it with a grain of salt if you like.

I've only seen the trailer once, so my memory is hazy, but I'll do my best. You'll see yourself that this isn't fake...

Trailer starts off with music very similar to Gladiator main theme. Bearded Clark is underwater with fire above him (I think it's the aftermath of the oil rig rescue scene).
Voice overs:
CLARK (BOY): "The worlds too big, Mom."
MA KENT: 'Then make it smaller.'
We see a shot of Martha Kent - Diana Lane looks old and not as hot (not complaining - she looks like Ma Kent).
See a shot of boy Clark running and then sitting in a room with his hands over his head, crying.
MA KENT: 'Listen to my voice. Imagine it's an island in the middle of a big ocean. Can you see it?"
BOY CLARK: 'I see it.'

Bearded Clark opens his eyes underwater.

We see a shot (Comic Con) of the bus falling into the water.

RANDOM MOTHER: 'My son was in the bus... he saw what Clark did.'

Shot of boy Clark pushing bus out of the water.

Scene of Pa Kent and Boy Clark.
PA KENT: You are meant to keep that side of you a secret.
BOY CLARK: What was I meant to do, let them die?
PA KENT: ....maybe...

Shot of Bearded Clark on street, sees a school bus drive past (CC).

Shot of Clark in the fortress - music beautifully changes and builds.

BEARDED CLARK: 'I have so many questions, where do I come from?"

Shot of Clark holding the 'S' key.

Shot of Superman; back to camera. Cape flowing and red boots.
A few absolutely beautiful shots of Superman walking among the snow (you don't see his face which is a nice touch).

PA KENT (voice over): 'You just need to decide what kind of man you want to grow up to be. Whoever that man is...

Music starts to build... epicly... Superman is in a kneel position. In slow mo the ground begins to shake....

PA KENT (continued): '...he's going to change the world."

Superman takes off (DBZ style) and the music goes EPIC - very operatic and just epic. Superman zooms into space and flies across the Earth.

From here the shots were very close together but I'll do my best to remember all of them:

* A lot of footage from Comic Con (if you haven't seen that look it up). New footage I remember seeing:
* Perry White running from collapsing building.
* Faora standing back towards camera looking at flames.
* Zod's space ship heading towards Kent farm.
* Ma Kent and Superman hugging.
* Superman holding Lois's hand surrounded by the military.

The trailer ends with the line 'My father believed if the world found out who I really was, they'd reject me. He was convinced that the world wasn't ready. What do you think?
Final shot is Superman emerging from rubble with the military stepping in (same as CC)

Sounds awesome, but at the same time, it sounds kinda short.
WildCard12 - 12/8/2012, 11:09 PM
Man of steel will rule 2013 this is so badass!!!
JULEZ13 - 12/8/2012, 11:10 PM
Sounds like mostly Comic Con footage and they just added a couple of scenes.

This can easily be fake, but I guess we'll see in less than a week!

Oh and FIRST!
JULEZ13 - 12/8/2012, 11:10 PM
Not 1st... but 7th. My lucky number!
WildCard12 - 12/8/2012, 11:10 PM

janitra - 12/8/2012, 11:12 PM
My most anticipated movie next year
signothetimez - 12/8/2012, 11:14 PM
I was an extra in a scene in Chicago where Perry is running from an attacked building. This is 100% true. Can't wait.
Drewbee87 - 12/8/2012, 11:15 PM
My god, just show it already!
DoctorDoak - 12/8/2012, 11:17 PM
I'm not a big Superman fan by any means but this trailer sounds incredible -- reading that description gave me goosebumps. Whether the source is reliable or not, I hope the actual trailer has the same effect.
myparentsaredead - 12/8/2012, 11:22 PM
I think, of all upcoming comic book films, this one NEEDS to be good. If this fails, that's it for the character for a very, very long time. Comics will just be getting worse and the brand itself will falter. I'm impatiently waiting for this to come out, as I hope it'll truly be a sight to behold.
pieralnett - 12/8/2012, 11:22 PM
I wonder how this guys memory is when it isn't hazy? Sounds awesome though. Can't wait to finally see some high quality footage.
thalidomide - 12/8/2012, 11:23 PM
Can't wait for the trailer!!
rockerdude22 - 12/8/2012, 11:29 PM
Sounds good! Have high hopes for this!
Vital - 12/8/2012, 11:44 PM
I really like how personal it is. So when Superman falls or is in trouble, we actually care about it. I didn't care for Superman getting his ass kicked in Superman Returns because there was no build up, no emotional attachment to his character for the audience to hold onto.
Emjeed - 12/8/2012, 11:45 PM
Damn.. looks like Pa Kent is taking no prisoners when it comes to protecting his boy's secret. This is gonna be one epic weekend
95 - 12/8/2012, 11:48 PM
All of the footage we've seen has been majestic. The bits of dialogue we've heard are powerful. Zack Snyder will bring Superman to life, because honestly, there hasn't been a Superman adaptation that showed his full potential. Of course, we should expect the VFX to be nothing short of incredible.

I want to go into this film dark. All I care to see now is: Zod. Michael Shannon should deliver an intense performance. I have a confident feeling that this will be a memorable cinematic experience. If Hans Zimmer's score is anything like what they've used in the teaser, this film will be magical.
HeadPool420 - 12/8/2012, 11:51 PM
Sounds good and deep! Screw the trailer I want the full movie!!!!!!
95 - 12/8/2012, 11:53 PM
Seriously... this looks to be our first Superman movie. The others were fine for their time, but they never did an inch of what Superman has done in the comics and cartoons for decades.
theorphan - 12/9/2012, 12:05 AM
Remember when the Dark Knight Rises description said Bane fought Batman in some scaffolding immediately following the events of the Dark Knight? I could be wrong but I call bulls*** until the trailer actually premieres. Would there really be no Russell Crowe Voiceover? Would Ma Kent really be unattractive? This looks like general pandering and tomfoolery. I may be wrong but I will happily come back and apologize if this is even close to what we receive. I think the movie looks great, but that doesn't mean some random fanboy didn't come up with yet another random narrative created by some wannabe nobody.
ahhmynuts - 12/9/2012, 12:07 AM
i love this! that last line gave me chills!
DCjohnny - 12/9/2012, 12:08 AM

denotsip - 12/9/2012, 12:17 AM

Newbus - 12/9/2012, 12:29 AM
I watched Superman II yesterday and thought about this film.
AsianVersionOfET - 12/9/2012, 12:44 AM
Ahhh [frick] YEAH
theorphan - 12/9/2012, 12:45 AM
@DannyRandyesyouIronFist, I'm guessing you haven't seen the Ultimate Cut of Watchmen because it is absolutely all anyone could hope for. Snyder is brilliant. He either needs a lot of time to find his genius or mayhaps he needs someone to wrangle him in. I'm hoping Nolan is that person. But I urge anyone who hasn't seen the Ultimate Cut of Watchmen to give it a shot. It's just spectacular and (don't crucify me) maybe more elegant than the maxi series it was based on.
SuperDude001 - 12/9/2012, 1:03 AM
Yeah this is awesome...but the 'maybe' line from Pa Kent seems wildly out of character.
So either this is fake or they've very much changed his character.
JDUKE25 - 12/9/2012, 1:09 AM
Sounds awesome. As for the Pa Kent line, im sure he'll instill the morals in Clark but maybe this is the first time they've encountered a real threat of people learning about Clark, so in the moment he's feeling a sense of panic.
P862010 - 12/9/2012, 1:15 AM
this is 100% fake the trailer has a confirmed 2:30 second run time this description is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too short
Kayo - 12/9/2012, 1:17 AM
can't wait to see the trailer

@ Tea: LOL, you save the day again bro
Coachella - 12/9/2012, 1:25 AM
I knew they were going to do some changes. I just hope they dont change Superman.
daabos15 - 12/9/2012, 1:26 AM
not saying i believe it is real but don't forget that it says a lot of the description is from comic con which clocked in at around 2.20. that time will fly
