Animated PUNISHER Fan Film: "Do Not Fall in New York City"

Animator Luis Pelayo Junquera has created an animated short based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's, "Do Not Fall In New York City." Considered by many fans to be the best story during Ennis' run. It centers around one of Frank's friends from the war killing his own family.

"Do Not Fall In New York City" was a deeply moving one-issue Punisher story created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. What makes it so emotional is that Frank Castle is chancing around a villain in a costume, but one of his comrades from Vietnam. This a simply yet poignant story about two men that have fallen. Ennis explores some complex issues, and The Punisher's monologue about New York City has a lot of emotional oomph as the comic was published just a few month after the September 11th attacks.

Never really liked Punisher as a character. i just simply didn't "get" him, but this was good.
I , personally, want to see a movie/animated film/comic where Punisher's the "villain" of the story. Not a bad guy, but just seen through the eyes of Cops/DA's/investigator or whoever, where you see people trying to catch him, and their opinion on his actions. What Frank does and how he does it can have heavy social ramifications i would imagine, and i want to see how the world around him reacts to it.

This was damn good. Animation is hard to do by yourself. I always thought the Punisher should have a tv show or cartoon like spawn did on HBO. The movies just try too hard it seems like.

That wasn't bad at all for a animated fan film. It maybe wasn't spectacular, but it was still enjoyable.
