Bryan Singer knows how to handle a large cast. Should be good

OK, this is starting to become a crowd...which is a good thing, but I hope they won't add any more major mutants into the cast. Yes, not even Cyclops.

This is really building to hopefully be something special.

Imagine is Christopher Reeves was still alive then they could've made a crisis on infinite Earths with a crossover with Reeves and Cavill superman, which could be used to explain reboots in general in the comicbook movie worlds. They are not restarts we are watching another version on another Earth.

Damn, from his casting in 1999 to the release of Days of Future Past in 2014, Jackman will have portrayed Wolverine in 7 films over the course of 15 years and counting.

always Wolverine and no Cyclops, this is s nightmare. Fox guys can´t do a decent X-Men movie.

We need that Fox sell rights back to Marvel and a complete reboot for X franchise.

I doubt it. We've seen in Superman Returns and First Class with actors standing around without a word to say.

So when Xavier and Magneto meet Wolverine in the bar in the 60s and yet X1 - X3 tjey act like they met him for the first time. I wonder how this will play out DOFP.

At best it'll just be cameos in some kind of Terminator style flash forwards. It'll still be very much a sequel to First Class, following the characters from that movie for the main storyline. I'm curious though as to who will be the one sent back through time.

AC1 - 12/19/2012, 3:06 AM
Yeah except he's already 'officially welcomed' Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, both of whom responded that they had no idea they were officially signed on for their roles. After that, I'm going to have a very hard time trusting anything Bryan Singer announces as 'official'.

@Newbus- didn't Matthew Vaughn direct First Class?

Noooo

My favourite part about First Class was that Wolverine didn't hog the spotlight. :/

I hope it's just a cameo. but I don't think it will be.

But it was Singer that wrote and produced First Class.

I personally want to see a good story. I want to see the rights go back to Marvel. I want to see the X-Men as they should be seen and cast. I want Singer to read the X-Men comic from 1 - 200 and understand what he is managing. I want Singer/Fox to watch the Avengers till they get they get the picture.

Guess what? Personally I don't think fox or Singer gives a F*** what I want, and I'm pretty sure that goes for everyone else who loves comics.

Sentinels? That's all people want to see...(like cats chasing a flash light) well go to you tube and look at some cut scene's from X-Men video games. BOOM!

EVERYBODY GO LOOK AT THE SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE X-MEN 2 DVD:

Jackman gets asked if he feels strange about doing a sequel, and he of course says he's excited etc. But the he starts laughing and saying "If years down the track you catch me doing, y'know, X-Men 9 or something, then we might have a problem!" With The Wolverine and DOFP, he'll be up to 7. Almost there, Hugh...:P
