I did a few rounds for the next level, for the "Pay-off Poster" that was fun to design, namely we wanted to show the doors open with the X-Men walking towards camera. Lasers, jet engines, giant Cogs, and locks were fun to play around with, but the exercise did not pay off with a finish. - Thom Schillinger

Thom also worked on the logo for X-Men: The Last Stand, as 20th Century Fox liked Thom's past designs for X-Men 2, keeping the continuity in place. As you can see below, Thom continued exploring a logo that would incorporate the Cerebro Doors, like he had attempted in the X-Men 2 logo designs above. "Once designed we explored outdoor campaigns for the sides of buildings, bus sides, and also freestanding billboards. The idea was that "Energy" blasted throuh leaving only an "X". Never finished though it was a strong concept, IMHO." - Thom Schillinger
