Here's a preview of the book if anybody is interested: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/kick-ass-watchmen-new-comic-mark-hamill-309251

So Marvel has the official 4 movies for 2014 (Cap 2, GotG, DoFP, TAM 2) and possibly this and the rumored Big Hero 6 in November? I love comic book movies as much as everybody on here but we're moving from 3 or less Marvel movies a year to six in one year? That may be over saturating, because that's just one publisher.

Hmhm, good scoop.
SpikeHair - 4/29/2013, 12:06 AM
it's a Matthew Vaughn Film so that means some things; POV shots, some one pointing the barrel of a gun at a camera, and a whole lot of WINNING!!! Charlie Sheen aproves
SpikeHair - 4/29/2013, 12:43 AM
Actually in one of editorial letters of CLINT; Mark Millar said that his and Matthew Vaughn's choice was actually Colin Firth. so i'd guess i believe it.

@Ocelot
or why did he pass on kick-ass 2 for Days of Future Past [initially]
EditNinja - 4/29/2013, 1:44 AM
...and playing Superior will be... (still waiting)...
SpikeHair - 4/29/2013, 2:09 AM
@Editninja. Mark Millar basically likes to make his own fancasts when it come to his properties (originally He wanted Brad Pitt for Big Daddy.)

Superior: Tom Hardy, Christina Hendricks, Asa Butterfield (sorry if i spelt that one.) Gary Oldman as the Chimp.

Nemesis: Brad Pitt or Liam Neason, Johnny Depp or Michael Fassbender (Nemesis)

@Godkiller Thats what i like about Mark Millar, he can be his own worst enemy. He can come up with cool stories worthy of being adapted, and palling around with worthy directors. But he dicks around with the fans too much
jimoakley666 - 4/29/2013, 2:34 AM
What?! It should have been Jason Isaacs. The artwork is obviously based upon his look. Bloody daft.
LEEE777 - 4/29/2013, 2:53 AM
Well cool!

Good news, great actor!

A comic book movie = win win!

Not read this comic, think I better take a pop.

@Godkiller

Ummm Deubunked? Just like Marion Cotilliard debunked Thalia Al Ghul rumors? I'm not convinced yet either but you can't call it debunked until they announce all of phase 3.
ATrueHero1987 - 4/29/2013, 5:34 AM
Is Secret Service even a good read?
gambgel - 4/29/2013, 6:13 AM
Interestingly, he was the first option to play Sebastian Shaw on Matthew's X-Men First Class, but for some reason didnt happen.

Never thought Colin could do this type of movie, so Im a bit surprised. Will be something tottally different for him, so should be fun
skidz - 4/29/2013, 10:57 AM
I think Vaughn was still involved in the story of DOFP, but was tied up with directing this movie. Singer's back to fix everything Ratner screwed up and smooth over any continuity issues raised by First Class.
