Man Of Steel was directed by Zack Snyder, from a script written by David Goyer. The cast includes: Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Ayelet Zurer, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix, Laurence Fishburne and Richard Schiff. In theaters June 14th, 2013!

I am curious as to how much of Christopher Nolan's input went into this movie. If he had a lot of influence he really has a knack for developing comic book movies - assuming this movie is as good as it looks.

Being a fan of Superman for almost 50 years I can say I hope just from the trailers that this will be a Superman fans dream movie come true. It's what all people my age who use to read the comics, watched the Adventures of Superman, saw the Christopher Reeve movies and all incarnations since use to imagine what the real Superman would be if he were real! After that bring on the Justice League!

Finally went to see IM3 and caught the latest trailer for this movie. I've been out of town but I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in thinking that Marvel is about to get their hat handed to them by DC. As soon as I heard about Joss Whedon being involved with Avengers I was concerned with the "Buffy" effect taking over the MCU. Yes, Avengers was a huge success and all, but after seeing IM3 I can see that my concerns were 100% spot on. Marvel needs to nip this campy shit in the bud RIGHT NOW before DC makes em look like a bunch of fools. Once Zak Snyder chooses a side you can bet your ass the other sides [frick]ed...and it looks like DC got him. Marvel watch your shit. You're [frick]ing up.
