PACIFIC RIM SYNOPSIS - When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes-a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)-who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

Pacific Rim was directed by Guillermo del Toro, from a script written by Travis Beacham. The cast includes Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, Ron Perlman, Max Martini, Robert Kazinsky, Clifton Collins, Jr., Burn Gorman, Larry Joe Campbell, Diego Klattenhoff, and Brad William Henke. Coming to DVD & Blu-ray October 15th!

Just saw Gravity and I liked it plenty, and knowing the Academy, those fcckers will probably give all the technical awards to it, but PR SHOULD win... or atleast give them both awards.

Problemo solved!

Part of the scene is in the movie. But not the big where he goes after him. My guess is that it kinda doesn't sit right given how he's surround by people who have lost their families to Kaiju.

Lol great clip! Day always cracks me up on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and is definitely my favorite character on the show. His high-ish voice and very controlled acting for showing anger is excellent, and Del Toro found the perfect ways to use that for the Geiszler character. I loved Pacific Rim, and can't wait for the 15th. I was disappointed that it was very underrated, but you never know, we fans may still get our sequel. And that concept art and scene construction/deconstruction stuff was awesome as well.
