Alright, I'm back with more Batman Vs. Superman scoopage from my source, General Napier. This time, we'll cover lots of tidbits. So, bear with me. First up, The Flash. Yes, he will be in the film, BUT as others have mentioned he will not be in costume for the movie. The Flash will only be seen as Barry Allen. Same goes for Wonder Woman. She will not be wearing her costume in this film, and will only be known as Diana. As you know, CW is developing a Flash television series that is a spinoff from Arrow. I'm told by my source that WB wants Grant Gustin to make the cameo as Barry Allen, BUT it all depends on how the audience reacts to him when he makes his debut on the small screen later this year. If sentiment is positive Gustin's in, but if it's negative they will find someone else for the Barry Allen/Flash cameo.

Last weekend, Zack Snyder dropped a few Batman Vs. Superman tidbits. The most pertinent, is when he said: "Lex (Luthor) loves calling him an alien." Zack Snyder's Lex Luthor isn't gonna be focusing on real estate, like he has in past Superman films. This time, Lex's motivations will be rooted on his belief that Superman is not good for mankind. The Lex that you will see, will resemble characteristics from Grant Morrison's All-Star Superman. The video below, includes a scene in which Lex explains to Clark Kent why Superman's perfection diminishes his greatness. This is what you can expect from Zack Snyder's Lex.

Alright, so he hates Superman for being a perfect alien, what else can you tell us hot shot? Well, my source describes Lex as "the pride of Metropolis. The people love him, he's been helping out a lot. Even Lois thinks he's a good guy initially. He is a very smart man and has a lot of charisma." Wait, there's more. Lex likes to dabble in "fringe" science. This is the side of him the people of Metropolis do not see. In one particular scene, Lex will ask his LexCorp scientists if they can recreate Kryptonian armor. Lex says to them, "When the world realizes what he truly is, they will need someone to stand up to him." When one of scientists ask if he is that someone, Lex replies, "Is there any other person who can?"

Recently, Terry O'Quinn ("Lost") was reported to be in the mix for Lex Luthor, but I'm told that he was never considered for the part at anytime. I can tell you, that James Purefroy, who is best known for playing a professor-turned-serial-killer in Fox's The Following, was contacted about Lex Luthor, but wanted absolutely nothing to do with it.

Alright, let's move on to other tidbits. We know that Bruce Wayne is getting a love interest in the film, but what you may not know is that WB really wants to cast an African-American actress for the part. I'm told by my source, that Ben Affleck will be reading with several actresses this very week to see if they have chemistry. This will be a committed relationship, not just a one night stand. It's so serious, that she will know Bruce's superhero identity.

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

Man Of Steel was directed by Zack Snyder, from a script written by David Goyer. The cast includes: Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Ayelet Zurer, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix, Laurence Fishburne and Richard Schiff.

That is terrible if that "kid" Flash on the CW show appears on Batman vs Superman. You need an older guy, like late-20s/mid 30s...
HongKongPooey - 11/13/2013, 6:50 PM
interesting...........
Viltrumite - 11/13/2013, 6:50 PM
An African-American actress specifically, one that knows Bruce's secret identity, might be an indicator of Jezebel Jet from Grant Morrison's run on the character.
Nick56 - 11/13/2013, 6:50 PM
Awesome news if true
BatmanRobinNightwing - 11/13/2013, 6:50 PM
Hell yes. I knew Arrow would tie in(it be dumb not to include it). Hopefully grant hits a homerun because i want a shared universe
dckizzle - 11/13/2013, 6:51 PM
Oh ya go dc baby hope this rumors true
BatManHeisenberg - 11/13/2013, 6:52 PM
He had a relationship(Bruce) with a african american who knew his secret identity in Batman: R.I.P. It was cool. That Lex thing sounds amazing, I am so excited for this.
Nick56 - 11/13/2013, 6:52 PM
If they can tie in Arrow, Flash, and have the Gotham show as a prequel it will be fantastic. Either way super pumped for Lex/Supes action and Diana cameo
JoeMomma29 - 11/13/2013, 6:54 PM
This is bigger than Gusto getting cleared of all his Federal Charges!!!!!!
Nomis - 11/13/2013, 6:54 PM
Got to be Jezebel for Bruce's love interest since they had a long relationship.

But she betrayed Bruce also.
AshleyWilliams - 11/13/2013, 6:56 PM

The news is awesome expect for Flash appearing. Dc are rushing JL IMO. But this news is awesome! Can't wait!
MrReese - 11/13/2013, 6:56 PM
Liking what I hear.
JasonGrayson77 - 11/13/2013, 6:57 PM
NO NO! If she's not Catwoman, she can't know Bruce's identity. He needs the closed off, secluded from the rest of the world feel. Batman is a loner. He only really trusts the justice league.
JoeMomma29 - 11/13/2013, 6:57 PM
If these rumors are true, then all these character like Arrow will make appearances in the movie to start establishing team up movies. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Superman/Batman

2. WW/Flash

3. Green Lantern/Green Arrow
whoa123 - 11/13/2013, 6:57 PM
I like what I'm hearing. Good work nail!
Tony93 - 11/13/2013, 6:57 PM

LP4 - 11/13/2013, 7:00 PM
LEX LUTHOR!!!! I've been begging for Lex to appear since MOS was first announced lol
JoeMomma29 - 11/13/2013, 7:00 PM
@ WhatDCc

LOL learn how to troll correctly. And please let me know if Marvel has ever had the likes of Zimmerman!
ShadowlordSavage - 11/13/2013, 7:00 PM
Eh...I don't believe it, I'll wait until something's official before believing any rumor to be true. However, if the description of Lex's character is accurate I'd be happy.

We'll see, the only black woman I've ever seen Bruce date was in the animated movie Batman:Mystery of Batwoman.

antoineflemming - 11/13/2013, 7:00 PM
Yeah, I agree. And it's the only thing I'm really worried about with Arrow. That they are going for a Wally West character (the funny guy on the team, not Barry even though it seems like a good bit of media portrays him as such). So that's the only thing that worries me. He definitely needs to be late 20s, pushing on 30 IMO. Definitely so by the time he interacts with the founding members of the Justice League. But, if these rumors are true, then I expect that Batman will know Barry and Diana, and will be in the process of forming the Justice League. He will be more experienced than Superman, ONLY because he's been crime fighting for a while, and he will know the two other heroes. He will introduce Clark to the Justice League as the one to be the face of it. It'll be like the last scene in the film I bet, the cameo. And, IF the Nightwing rumors are true, then they are adding Nightwing to the Justice League, unless he's Batman's villain in the film. Of course this speculation is IF these rumors are even true.
CrimsonFlash - 11/13/2013, 7:02 PM
I haven't really seen much from WB/DC that making me feel better after man of steel. I thought MOS lacked character development and now we're getting a sequel he's sharing with batman plus possibly more heroes scattered about.
JoeMomma29 - 11/13/2013, 7:02 PM
@ Gusto

You do not remember you smuggled it up your B Hole!
JULEZ13 - 11/13/2013, 7:04 PM
This news would be GREAT!

Except for the Arrow tie in, I would prefer that they'd keep that separate. I'm not a huge fan of the casting of Flash.
jimdotbeep - 11/13/2013, 7:04 PM
First of the All star Continuity sucks ass. Second in the Pannel at the top of this article Lex Points out a crucial Flaw in the Superman franchise that has bugged me for a Long Time now. With Superman's Godlike Power protecting people hardly makes him a hero. Superman never has anything to sacrifice. going out there and saving the Day is basically meeting the minimal level of Responsibility and Human decency. Superman never has to work or persevere for anything he accomplishes. With that kind of power anyone can save the day.
Mrcool210 - 11/13/2013, 7:04 PM
James Purefroy seriously turned it down? [frick] he would have been perfect for lex. oh well, i still have hope for micheal c hall
pandatan98 - 11/13/2013, 7:05 PM
Not too convinced that the author has a reliable source, but Arrow being in the MOS universe would be amazing.
JoeMomma29 - 11/13/2013, 7:07 PM
@ McGee

EpitomeofAwesome - 11/13/2013, 7:07 PM
Good stuff
GammerDad - 11/13/2013, 7:07 PM
Please tell me this means we get Lex in his War Suit/Armor! And if Lex is anything close in concept to the All Star version I'll be pleased.

The JL looks like they are trying to push but like I said they (DC) has the upper hand, everyone wants to see the JL THEN a spin off "what makes them tick" movie.

All in all looks like the right direction, taking the best from the SOURCE material and fitting it together. Time will tell.

TerminalVoyd - 11/13/2013, 7:08 PM
Hmm... I wonder....

Only with less heavy metal... at least at first.
GliderMan - 11/13/2013, 7:08 PM
"If sentiment is positive Gustin's in, but if it's negative they will find someone else for the Barry Allen/Flash cameo."

PERFECT. Exactly what they should do.
antoineflemming - 11/13/2013, 7:08 PM
Oh, and it's Hans Zimmer, not Hans Zimmerman. Zimmerman... Zimmermann Letter or George Zimmerman lol?

@JoeMamma29 Ramin Djawadi, composer of the first Iron Man's soundtrack, was up under Zimmer at his Remote Control Studios. And that soundtrack IMO was the best Iron Man soundtrack. Fit the character and the story.
LP4 - 11/13/2013, 7:08 PM
Past 4 years on this site I've been begging and defending and arguing for Lex to appear! This is wonderful news! Screw the haters
SuperCat - 11/13/2013, 7:09 PM
Now Barry Allen is going to make an appearance? Damn, this movie is getting crowded as f@ck!
JoeMomma29 - 11/13/2013, 7:10 PM
@ Gusto

LOL! Hmmm I wished I had pictures of that!
ATrueHero1987 - 11/13/2013, 7:10 PM
Bruce's love interest will be played by...
Jhuntdaprodigy - 11/13/2013, 7:11 PM
This all sounds [frick]ing excellent...assuming it's not bullshit (I pray it's not)
