So basically there will be a Transformers 5 & 6.
Moohika - 11/17/2013, 10:44 AM
Here comes an interesting comment section...let me grab my popcorn
Enphlieuwince - 11/17/2013, 10:47 AM
So, anybody down for a boycott?
duncboy - 11/17/2013, 10:48 AM
I lost faith in this movie when I saw that picture of Optimus riding a dinobot. As with the last 2, this film is looking like an action figure marketing tool.
MrCBM56 - 11/17/2013, 10:48 AM
Ok. I'm excited for T4.
NostalgicYouth - 11/17/2013, 10:49 AM
Isn't that what film studios are suppose to do when their working on big budget movies like this? Lol
TheYoungMan - 11/17/2013, 10:51 AM
@duncboy That's what made me gain faith in this movie, actually.
charlie2094 - 11/17/2013, 10:51 AM
So yeah, there will be a Transformers 5 and 6 :P No way it won't do amazingly well

Honestly, these films are fun to watch. Nothing amazing, but good action, occasionally funny, incredible visual effects and sound design etc

Definitely a leave your brain at the door deal, but nothing wrong with that occasionally, and Bay does it well
batesmotel - 11/17/2013, 10:53 AM
Its gonna do good no matter what.
BlackIceJoe - 11/17/2013, 10:57 AM
Well I will take a guess that 5 & 6 will happen then. These movies are not deep films but that does not mean they aren't fun. People really seem to like them. So there will be more sequels.

Now how about some news on a Robotech movie. That could be cool.
CaptainObvious - 11/17/2013, 10:58 AM
Please don't let Bay come back. Get somebody new. This franchise is in desperate need of flesh blood.
DamienA - 11/17/2013, 10:59 AM
Bay has redeemed himself slightly by bringing in the Dinobots but you better give me Unicron, Bay.
DVonShakari - 11/17/2013, 10:59 AM
I could have PREDICTED this news...........as crappy and cheesy as those movies were, people love to see giant robots having well choreographed fights and destroying tall buildings....
ALegendaryPanda - 11/17/2013, 11:03 AM
I won't even lie though, I'm going to watch this movie opening night.
Enphlieuwince - 11/17/2013, 11:03 AM
BlackIceJoe, you called it! Man, a Robotech movie with the SFX of Pacific Rim? That would be crazy. make me a Voltron movie that will erase the stain of Power Rangers films from my memory and my life will be complete...
TimL - 11/17/2013, 11:04 AM
Give me Bad Boys 3 already.
Enphlieuwince - 11/17/2013, 11:05 AM
Did that new Gatchaman get released? Amd if so, did anybody see it?
Enphlieuwince - 11/17/2013, 11:06 AM
@TimL, yes, please and thank you.
BeerForever667 - 11/17/2013, 11:07 AM
Michael Bay you genius!
thejfather1 - 11/17/2013, 11:08 AM
Dont care how bad its gonna be, im gonna see it, Transformers has still been fun to watch imp
thejfather1 - 11/17/2013, 11:08 AM
imo
TheMexicanSuperman - 11/17/2013, 11:09 AM
@duncboy, so like the cartoon?
RRA - 11/17/2013, 11:22 AM
These movies suck, but they're an ATM for Paramount and Hasbro. The sequels will happen, and guess what? TRANSFORMERS/G.I. JOE cross-over movie.

See for all the nerds ragging on Marvel for their humor, they make terrific "toy movies." Contrast them with say Hasbro and well, they don't exactly stand up to Marvel to say the least.
ahhmynuts - 11/17/2013, 11:22 AM
so 5 and 6 are pretty much a go. niiice
SuperCat - 11/17/2013, 11:27 AM

GUNSMITH - 11/17/2013, 11:34 AM
A TRANSFORMER MOVIE WILL ALWAYS MAKE SERIOUS CASH. FOR THE HATERS THOUGH THIS MIGHT BE MICHAEL BAYS LAST ONE...MAYBE...WELL COULDN'T YOU WALK AWAY FROM ALL THAT CASH? HE'S GONNA BE OK, HE'LL MAKE SOME OTHER HUGE BLOCKBUSTER MOVIE...LIKE WHAT BAD BOYS 3D???
JGAR - 11/17/2013, 11:35 AM
Transformers will become Hollywood's Call Of Duty. Movies that are so bad, but sadly get a lot of money. :(
CaptainAmerica31 - 11/17/2013, 11:48 AM
I'm sure we'll get a fantastic transformers movie someday but for now let's enjoy the transformers films we got. I personally don't like no brain movies but I'll give it a shot
npamusic - 11/17/2013, 11:51 AM
LOLOLOLOL it'll be made either way.
mctrinket - 11/17/2013, 11:53 AM
I have zero interest...much like the previous three films.
sinsear912 - 11/17/2013, 11:56 AM
Call of duty games haven't improved in like 10 years but make a shit load of money. Why?
marvel72 - 11/17/2013, 12:14 PM
so we've got transformers 5 & 6 to look forward to.
TelaVizion - 11/17/2013, 12:41 PM
@Supercat, I hope we get a season 2 of that.
MrCameron - 11/17/2013, 12:42 PM
I find it odd how people complain about the quality of these movies when in reality, Transformers has really only ever existed to sell toys, so it's not like we need to expect something really deep and meaningful.
TheRationalNerd - 11/17/2013, 12:49 PM
Transformers 5 and 6 could easily focus on Cybertron, Starscream's return/Galvatron and Unicron for 6!

I don't know guys... do you think we'll see Optimus pull the plug in one of these sequels??

One thing that I'm really, really, really, really hoping to see is more "combination" transformations! I think the idea of having Optimus, Bee or any other autobots combining into one is so bad a**!! They can do a LOT with two more films. They just have to get the stories off of earth!!! lol
Enphlieuwince - 11/17/2013, 2:27 PM
@TheBlackNerd, wow I didn't know that they could combine. I'd pay to see that shit without hesitation. But, IT MUST be better than Devastator. It was cool IMO, but, it was NOT Devastator.

What we got:

And I must admit I haven't seen it in a while and it's more impressive than I remember, but, the way they were designed, it's hard to make out what you're looking at normal to high speed. Yeah, but this was intimidating nonetheless.

What I expected:

Yeah, his arm does look a little smaller than it should be this fanmade pic, especially in contrast to what we ended up seeing. I don't know why I expected anything close to this considering the drastic designs we had already seen, but, it would have been nicer to see something more in between these two looks.
ABH1979 - 11/17/2013, 2:31 PM
As long as the Bayverse continues, then I don't care if they make any more or not.

Bring in somemone new, with brand new, non-junkyard designs, and then I might care again.
RetroFit - 11/17/2013, 2:32 PM
"and the four reality show contestants that won cameos in the new film"

Great. So this is what the world is coming to as China's middle class emerges. Movies pandering to the Chinese market through reality show contests giving away cameos. *sigh*
RetroFit - 11/17/2013, 2:32 PM
"Anyone remember when these films were actually pretty good?"

No. When was that?
RetroFit - 11/17/2013, 2:35 PM
Yet another travesty Bayformers movie where the humans get way more screentime than the robots. Point in case, the bad guy in this movie is a human. For crying out loud! WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????????????????
