Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City's most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.

This game's Bane > Nolan's Bane (and this is coming from a huge fan of the latter).

You can definitely see the influence of Tom Hardy between Arkham City and this game.

Not the best of the series, but it was alright.

I don't like how Bane looks. Why does Bane think he needs one shoulder covered while the other isn't.

I like how his facial scars outline the design on his mask

I was digging Bane all the way up to his final transformation where he practically went full retard.

looks ridiculous.

He was so freaking hard both times you had to fight him. Good game though, it felt like a more updated version of AC, honestly.

Nice.

I haven't played this game yet, but can someone tell me if fighting Bane is more that just "wait until he runs at you, stun with cape, punch"? I wish Hardy's Bane would be in the next Arkham game. They could make up some "oh the venom was killing him and now he looks different after the crazy surgery" thing. It would be cool because A) Hardy's voice and B) better gameplay.

I thought Bane was awesome in this game, originally I thought it would be Deathstroke being the main threat from the assassin's, but I was really surprised how much I felt threatened by Bane during the story.

Loved Bane in this game, and the design is the best.
If they bring it to the new DCCU this is the way (of course pre-transformation).

Tubes in the throat that should be painful and hard to get past air port security with lol.
WruceBayne - 12/5/2013, 9:12 PM
@TonyChu-Your NEVER suppose to go full retard, bro. Lol
MightyZeus - 12/5/2013, 10:01 PM
Havent played the game yet. That concept art though looks great. The game should include or have more influence from Nolan's Bane. Here's to hoping for the next game to be excellent.
Slaggathor - 12/5/2013, 10:44 PM
@TonyChu Well, it does explain his size in the first game.

Humperdink - 12/5/2013, 11:35 PM
"Who do you guys think would win in a fight, Bane or the Juggernaut?"

LOL...was that a serious question?
Venom ain't THAT powerful.
MisterMagurlypse - 12/5/2013, 11:53 PM
I really liked the way Bane and his army was done in this game. Good boss battles too.
Havensent - 12/6/2013, 12:23 AM
Hands down the best design and version of Bane outside of the comics in any medium.

WB Montreal outdid themselves.
KingEmperor - 12/6/2013, 12:44 AM
I loved how Bane turned out in this game. Sucks how he had to end up near the end because of the way Rocksteady portrayed him in AA and AC.
batcheeks8 - 12/6/2013, 1:20 AM
That last boss battle though. I was crying like a baby and wanted to hide forever.
Guerillas - 12/6/2013, 1:54 AM
@Batcheek8 , i know right! It was so hard... and scary, and you get stressed out cuz of Alfreds nagging at you that you have to hurry!

But i think it was so obvious and lame that the writers plantet the "oh, you loose your memory using the t-1 whatever" , and bane looks so rediciolusly over the top...
but yeah it explains why he is a bit more stupid in asylum, and city... all though, he is a bit more chill in city.
mizeatwizad52 - 12/6/2013, 3:06 AM
Yeah, my vocabulary became quite limited during that boss battle.

When chased and hiding: Sh*t, Sh*t, Sh*t, Sh*t!!!!
When grabbed by Bane: F*******When grabbed by Bane while hiding in a grate : MotherF*-er!

Origins design/portraile of Bane is definitely my favorite version of Bane outside of the comics!
TheSoulEater - 12/6/2013, 6:33 AM
@Mizeatwizad52

Bane was SO bad ass in the game

and SAME, my vocabulary was down to "Shit shit shit shit and **ck! SH** AND ***CK!!!!

When I realized he could find me now. **CK!!! **CK!!!**CK!!!**CK!!!**CK!!!**CK!!!**CK!!!**CK!!!
