Special thanks to Michael - NerdyGeek for the heads up

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

I'm sorry but that footage of him zipping around the electric field just screams CGI and looks like a video game.
sintzu - 12/13/2013, 8:59 AM
i hope they don't show us evrything before the movie comes out
McNyagano - 12/13/2013, 9:00 AM

Still needs to work on the CGI though, looks good nonetheless.
storyteller - 12/13/2013, 9:00 AM
So in Germany it's Rise of Electro.

Awwww...... Good Job nail, you got it about 5 seconds sooner than me.
duncboy - 12/13/2013, 9:01 AM
Yeah the footage of him in the electric field looks cool but not realistic at all. I'm hoping this is a good flick though. Anyone notice how the Daily Bugle is in one scene?
TheDude - 12/13/2013, 9:06 AM
Yo! Blitzer! LMAO
StarkAnthony - 12/13/2013, 9:07 AM
Movies these days make more money internationally than in the US. Of course they will make trailers for other countries nd in other languages
JoeMomma29 - 12/13/2013, 9:08 AM
I hope they tighten up that CGI before the movie comes out.
ezio619 - 12/13/2013, 9:09 AM
oh man, thats was AWESOME, i really hope this film is good, i hope webb can balance all the elements well in roder to make a cohesive film, that aunt may scene was classic spiderman imo, peter trying to hide before aunt may finds out, i like how gwen yells peter when he is spiderman and immeditely puts her hand on her mouth thats great
TheRealistStarLord - 12/13/2013, 9:09 AM
The trailer feels like a comedic movie...
ezio619 - 12/13/2013, 9:10 AM
im pretyy sure he cgi will be good on the big screen, its still a few months before the movie comes out and they are stil working on it so i wont worry about that yet
punisher23 - 12/13/2013, 9:10 AM
Epic scope and hope script is good. But my god,ban sony image works from doing effects on any superhero movie, they are flat out terrible.
ezio619 - 12/13/2013, 9:10 AM
Syamagsa-well spidey is a humorous character
MrReese - 12/13/2013, 9:11 AM
Neat.
ekrolo2 - 12/13/2013, 9:11 AM
His costume looks really bad during the day time sections, personally I would have liked his previous one to stick around even though the purist douche bags are gonna hang me for not wanting everything to be like the classics or some such purist bull crap.
ezio619 - 12/13/2013, 9:11 AM
the way i judge the films are aslong as the characters ,their arc is good and the story is good,i can excuse minor plotholes and sometimes even major ones because atleast they got what i consider to be the important things right
ezio619 - 12/13/2013, 9:13 AM
can someone put up a translation too what they say in the trailer?
Nomis - 12/13/2013, 9:15 AM
The CGI obviously isn't finish but still it looks pretty good.

I'm as happy as a little guuurrlll!
TheMexicanSuperman - 12/13/2013, 9:15 AM
@ HellsHammer, you can say that about almost all CGI filled movies. Even Avatar, Avengers, Transfomers, King Kong (2005), and The Lord of the Rings look like video games at times.

@ TankD, so who cares if he is 30. A lot of movies with actors playing high school students are 5 to 10 years older than their character's age. Go back to your mom's basement.
Ocelot - 12/13/2013, 9:15 AM
Almost everything with Spiderman in that trailer looked odd,out of place and quite frankly just terrible, especially the shot of him in the bedroom wall.
EddieBrock - 12/13/2013, 9:16 AM
God you people complaining about the unfinished CGI are sooooo hip! I mean what ever happened to the good old days when effects were done with marionet puppets right???

WHAT THE HELL?

Is this film....actually going...to be GOOD?

Was I wrong all along.....?

That trailer WAS AWESOME!!
DarkGoku - 12/13/2013, 9:23 AM
They fixed one important problem of the first movie. And that's the writing. In the first movie it got so damn annoying to even hear him speak. He was so much of a dick instead of the wise cracking spidey we all know and love. I think this spider-man movie will make up for the crap-ass first one.
Pending - 12/13/2013, 9:23 AM
Has a very TV movie look to it.
Battabing - 12/13/2013, 9:24 AM
Hmmmm, 3 villains in one Spider-man movie. I hope it works out but I've seen this movie before and it suuuuuuucked.
cipher - 12/13/2013, 9:24 AM
MuricanCipher- Hey, mate.. what do I get you for Christmas, anyway? Do you still like The Clash? Or did that change, too?
TheMexicanSuperman - 12/13/2013, 9:25 AM
@ nomis, you better watch what you say, because pedo bear (Gusto) might think that you are a little girl.
soforizo - 12/13/2013, 9:26 AM
EPIC! Spidey is BACK!!!
Highflyer - 12/13/2013, 9:27 AM
This is so damn awesome! This made me have a geekasm and laugh all at the same time!
Nomis - 12/13/2013, 9:28 AM
@ MexicanSuperman - LOL!!!!

U might be right. :)

Humor fits this character, and more importantly is produced by the character, not from ancillary characters. The jokes were not funny, but it didn't bother me.
Highflyer - 12/13/2013, 9:30 AM
Webbing the hand. classic.
soforizo - 12/13/2013, 9:30 AM
My prediction:

1 Billion dollars for this f'ker! Best CBM of 2014!
