Is Jason Momoa's Rumored BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Role, AQUAMAN?
A source for Devin Faraci of Badass Digest has informed the site that the Jason Momoa ("Game of Thrones") rumored role in Batman Vs. Superman (which he denies) is actually Aquaman.
A few days ago Jason Momoa told IGN that reports of him involvement with Zack Snyder's Man of Steel sequel, "just rumors." As much as we'd like to believe Jason, none of us should forget that actors aren't always truthful. Case in point: Paul Rudd's denial of Ant-Man, which was shortly revealed to be hogwash.
I was recently told by a very, very trusted source that the role Jason Momoa was up for (but is currently denying) is definitely Aquaman, but it's essentially a cameo setting up the next movie. Momoa's denials today could just be a smokescreen intended to protect the surprise nature of the cameo, although if the films are shooting back-to-back we'll know soon enough. - badassdigest.com
If Jason Momoa does appear in Batman Vs. Superman, will you be happy if he ends up being DC Comics' King of the Seven Seas, Aquaman. This would also mean that Josh Holloway isn't up for Aquaman, as I previously speculated. Interesting. Currently, the cast consists of Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Zack Snyder's Batman Vs. Superman flies into theaters July 17, 2015.
