MsDarkPhoenix - 1/25/2014, 11:20 AM
Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes>>>>>>>>>>>> Avengers Assemble, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., Ultimate Spider-Man
SuperCat - 1/25/2014, 11:21 AM
Lol. Never bothered to watch this show. Maybe kids like it.
MsDarkPhoenix - 1/25/2014, 11:21 AM
Why the hell did they cancel EMH??? WHY???? Best Marvel animated show since the 90s!!
WYLEEJAY - 1/25/2014, 11:28 AM
I can watch these shows. This ones the hardest to pay attention to sometimes. I love the characters so much, and my son loves these shows so I watch them with him. The one thing besides the humor that bugs me.....cause I can deal with the humor.....is the lack of significant story telling. Its like they think kids cant pay attention to story arcs that last through a season. Plus the identities of Peter Parker and Bruce Banner have no development whatsoever. I know kids love the action and humor and thats what their focus is with these shows, but what I dont like is that kids will grow up not knowing who Peter and Bruce are. Avengers I dont really have any gripes about. Besides having to watch the team start over again so soon after watching EMH. Now THAT....was a great cartoon.
Ceejay - 1/25/2014, 11:31 AM
Isn't there paint drying on some other channel somewhere..?
JoJo1982 - 1/25/2014, 11:35 AM
@thedarkphoenix

It really was!!!

I was thinking the next season(if it had a 3rd season) was going to be about Surtur and Thanos

They cancel good shows
Avenger EMH
Wolverine an the X-men

For crappy cartoons and NO, some of the kids don't like it
ThePowerCosmic - 1/25/2014, 11:43 AM
Guys seriously? This show isn't for adults. Your not supposed to like it...it's not for you.
JamesMan - 1/25/2014, 11:45 AM
As a Hulk fan, this show is truly awful.
MrCBM56 - 1/25/2014, 11:52 AM
Fan of Hulk or not, it's terrible.
MsDarkPhoenix - 1/25/2014, 11:55 AM
@PowerCosmic That's the problem! Both adults and kids enjoyed EMH but these new shows are just for kids. And even some kids, for example my sister and my cousins, liked EMH more!
batz11 - 1/25/2014, 11:56 AM
Haha people forget these are aimed at kids, not fanboys...
Godzillafart - 1/25/2014, 11:57 AM
I wish Marvel would make some animation for the over 12 crowd.
MsDarkPhoenix - 1/25/2014, 11:58 AM
When I was a kid I was watching Spider-Man TAS and X-Men TAS and I'm sure that everyone agrees that these were much better than today's Marvel animated shows!
CaptainObvious - 1/25/2014, 11:59 AM
I really hope they all end up like the Event Horizon crew.
batman1216 - 1/25/2014, 12:03 PM
Their have been many animated series aimed at children, that were able to be enjoyed by adult fans as well. Batman TAS, Batman Beyond, JLU, Superman TAS, Spider-man 90's, X-men 90's, Wolverine and The X-men, Spectacular Spider-man, Avengers: EMH, Young Justice, Green Lantern and even Batman: BTB and Beware the Batman (whether you enjoyed it or not). I personally loved all of those cartoons and can still watch and enjoy them to this day. This recent crop of Marvel cartoons is aimed at infants and are terrible representations of the characters. Ultimate Spider-man is not what anyone should want from a Spider-man cartoon and Agents of Smash may be the worst cartoon I have ever seen. The new Avengers cartoon is okay, but a pale reflection of the much superior Avengers: EMH.
diagnostic - 1/25/2014, 12:04 PM
This show is very popular in my house. Lots-a kids watch it.
Hulk2008 - 1/25/2014, 12:04 PM
Been a Hulk fan since 1976. Hulk is my favorite Marvel hero.

Been a Lou Ferrigno fan since Incredible Hulk series in 1977.

Mark Ruffalo is my favorite Banner / Hulk actor

But I will admit that Hulk & Aents of SMASH is bad, but slighthly better than Avengers Assemble which is very crappy.

Why couldn't they do season 3 of Avemgers: EMH????

EMH was the best Marvel animated series ever and reminded me so much of Justice League & JL Unlimited.

Ever since EMH has been cancelled not a single Marvel animated series or movie has been the least impressive(other than Planet Hulk which was great or Hulk vs.)
diagnostic - 1/25/2014, 12:05 PM
Someday, they will want a live action version on the big screen.
QuestiontheAnswer - 1/25/2014, 12:05 PM
At least DC releases adult-targeted animated movies. My younger cousins get bored of these childish shows and prefer YJ or EMH even GL.
MsDarkPhoenix - 1/25/2014, 12:05 PM
@batman1216 Yes exactly this! Thank you my kind sir!
QuestiontheAnswer - 1/25/2014, 12:08 PM
I grew up with JL and 90's Spider-Man, 90's X-Men. I enjoy these shows to this day.
MrCBM56 - 1/25/2014, 12:09 PM
batz11

True, but take Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes for example. I'm a college freshman and I LOVE that show, and that was aimed for kids. This is just terrible.
MsDarkPhoenix - 1/25/2014, 12:09 PM
I guess we'll live our lives wondering how EMH Season 3 could have been... Some said that they would have added Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver and more X-Men would have appeared.
JoJo1982 - 1/25/2014, 12:09 PM
@batman

*thumbs up*
batman1216 - 1/25/2014, 12:10 PM
Cartoons are an important bridge point for children to get into the world of comics. Many of those cartoons were my first real introductions to the characters and I loved them so much that I wanted more and started reading the comics. The cartoons are obviously not as dark or mature as the comics often are, but they should still reflect the characters and personalities appropriately, so you can still recognize them when you read the comics. Wolverine wasn't hacking people up in the 90's cartoon, but I still recognized the character and heard the voice actor's voice in my head when I read the comics.
JoJo1982 - 1/25/2014, 12:12 PM
Young Justice > Agents of Smash
Avengers EMH > Avengers Assemble

Any marvel and DC cartoons from the 90s > what new marvel cartoons on now
MsDarkPhoenix - 1/25/2014, 12:12 PM
A greek channel still airs the 90s JL episodes on weekends and I'm still watching them. And whenever I'm bored I'm watching Spider-Man and X-Men on my computer. Great shows, all of them!
MrNiklander - 1/25/2014, 12:13 PM
Seriously show sucks but who the hell is Jerryf guy is always posting that stupid fan made movie!!!!
QuestiontheAnswer - 1/25/2014, 12:15 PM
Even Static Shock was watchable.
DrDoom - 1/25/2014, 12:19 PM
There really isn't much weight to the 'target demographic' argument, because there have been plenty of very well written animated shows that were targeted at kids but were also of a high enough quality to be enjoyed by adults. There's no excuse for dumbed-down material for kid's programming.
CaptainObvious - 1/25/2014, 12:37 PM
Is Bruce Banner in this show? Is he even mentioned?
Monitorearthprime - 1/25/2014, 12:48 PM
My problem is Avengers, Hulk and Unltimate Spider-Man are supposed to be in the same cartoon universe but on the Avengers Hulk is a dumb brute while on Agents of SMASH the Hulk is smart. MArvel/Disney needs to get there act together.
ThePowerCosmic - 1/25/2014, 1:06 PM

On this site It seems Comic book movies need to be geared to mostly adults or else they are kids movies. But then we watch cartoons and hope they are also geared towards adults to? WTF?

This genre was made mostly for kids and teenagers. Yes, sometimes cartoons and films appeal to both kids and adults but you cannot expect that in every TV show or film. Especially cartoons. They mostly care about children watching them and buying action figures.
Geotheleo - 1/25/2014, 1:06 PM
Hulk talks too intelligently in the show.. It caters to people between 5 and 12
