Screen Junkies Confront Plagiarist Shia LaBeouf At #IAMSORRY Art Show

Two days ago, Transformers star Shia LaBeouf debuted his bizarre performance art show in Los Angeles. There, the 27-year-old actor sits quietly in his tuxedo with his "I Am Not famous Anymore" paper bag covering his face. Now he has been confronted on video.

If the actor is pulling this stunt, this charade, just to try to weasel out of a couple future copyright lawsuits, or this was his master plan all along that is yet to be determined. What we do know, is that Shia's antics have culminated into this bizarre #IAMSORRY art show, which debuted several days ago at an art gallery located at the corner of Beverly and Fuller in Los Angeles. There, the general public can go and visit the troubled actor. He wears a tuxedo, and a paper bag rests upon his head. He only communicates with his bloodshot-eyes. Eyes that have been milking tears at an unnatural rate. Real or chemically-induced? That's yet to be determined as well. And today, Screen Junkies decided to visit Shia at his art show. The video below features that confrontation. Skip to the two-minute mark to see all the creepy-goodness.

When Screen Junkies heard that Shia LaBeouf was letting people off the street come talk to him for his #IAMSORRY project, we couldn't wait to go and give him a piece of our mind!

ShadowPimp723 - 2/13/2014, 4:17 PM
This is getting disgusting. These guys' actions are like kicking someone when they can no longer fight back.
ALegendaryPanda - 2/13/2014, 4:19 PM
Easily the most awkward video I've ever seen.....Easily.

But damn can people just leave this dude alone already? I'm actually starting to feel kinda bad for this asshole.
MrReese - 2/13/2014, 4:25 PM
Is that shit real? It feels like they just did a voice over or something.
TheWriter - 2/13/2014, 4:29 PM
I don't know how to feel about this.. Although I do feel bad for him. A lot of actors are weird/corky guys and who is to say someone like Johnny Depp wouldn't have done this when he was 27 and under similar circumstances? I feel we need to leave Shia alone.
JamesMan - 2/13/2014, 4:32 PM
The degree to which people are trying to gang up on Shia is truly disgusting. Did he do a shitty thing? Yes. Is he paying for it? Yes. Do people need to repeatedly remind him of it and say what a loser he is? No.
Praetorian - 2/13/2014, 4:33 PM
I would just humiliate the [frick] out of him until he sobbed.
Praetorian - 2/13/2014, 4:33 PM
Though now I am confident that Shia Lebouf is the greatest actor alive and a total sociopath weirdo.
Indy - 2/13/2014, 4:34 PM

Indy - 2/13/2014, 4:37 PM
this reminds me of something?

JamesMan - 2/13/2014, 4:38 PM
Watched the video... that was uncomfortable. The Screen Junkies guys voice is annoying enough but after this video I just want to take a shit in his cereal and make him eat it.

Indy - 2/13/2014, 4:41 PM

JamesMan - 2/13/2014, 5:00 PM
@Pasto

I think the whip might be for Indiana Jones 4. Or Shia is really into S&M.
nailbiter111 - 2/13/2014, 5:02 PM
I'll add to this, I just spent longer than I should of on that sweet banner.

DudeGuyMan - 2/13/2014, 5:21 PM
Hal Rudnick came off like such a DOUCHE in this video. I was actually rooting for Shia!

You have to admit, LeBeouf looks really committed to this project.
antoineflemming - 2/13/2014, 5:23 PM
This guy acts like a douche.
SaxoWolf - 2/13/2014, 5:24 PM
cast him as Joker.
WeaponX93 - 2/13/2014, 5:25 PM
Loved him in Disturbia
Gunslinger - 2/13/2014, 5:25 PM
This is too much. The man is clearly disturbed. Sure, like the weir dude filming this shit said, Shia is a millionaire, and very famous (no need to sound so bitter about that dude), but even though he's had opportunities most of us never had... he's clearly mentally ill. In a way that is worrying... I mean, the guy seats there with a bag over his head, crying, while people go look at him like he's an animal in a zoo, humiliating him. Maybe in his head this is penance for the plagiarism, but this can only make it worse, It's spiralling out of control and he'll end up killing himself? I mean, friends and family should try intervening and getting him psychiatric help? What the [frick] is this?

And yeah, he's an idiot for stealing other people's work, but is this screen junkies guy any sort of moral compass? You "confronted" a guy who is clearly on self destruct mode and who according to his own delusional rules can't retaliate/answer/talk? Wow! Great confrontation! You are such a big MAN!

[frick]ing loser.

This world is doomed. Shit like this makes me sick. What's next? A reality show set in a mental institution showing the fun side of depression?
Spiderken2 - 2/13/2014, 5:28 PM
The guy asking Shia the questions Deserves a good swift kick in the face when an asshole.... He's clearly going through some stuff and doesn't look stable haven't you ever heard the old saying you don't kick a man when he's down? This is what's wrong with the entertainment industry these so-called reporters are nothing more than agitators that deserve to get their asses whooped!
ABLEE337 - 2/13/2014, 5:29 PM
I still like Shia LaBeouf, and I thought it was crappy of the guy blaming him for Indy4. That blame should go to George Lucas and only George Lucas.
