"Here is a sneak peek of Captain America in his “Golden Age” suit which he will wear in (Highlight text to reveal spoiler)an epic showdown with the Winter Soldier!(Spoiler ends) This collectible figure will be launched during our exhibition period, please continue to stay tuned on our Facebook Page for more details soon!" - Hot Toys

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” will pick-up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.

Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” features an outstanding supporting cast that includes Sebastian Stan (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Black Swan”) as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie (“The Hurt Locker,” “Million Dollar Baby”) as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Cobie Smulders (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “How I Met Your Mother”) as Agent Maria Hill, Frank Grillo (“Zero Dark Thirty”) as Brock Rumlow and Georges St-Pierre (“Death Warrior”) as Georges Batroc. Rounding out the talented cast are Hayley Atwell (“Captain America: The First Avenger”) as Peggy Carter, Toby Jones (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “The Hunger Games”) as Arnim Zola, Emily VanCamp (“The Ring 2,” “Revenge”) as Agent 13 and Maximiliano Hernández (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “Thor”) as Agent Jasper Sitwell.

The abdomen design is wrong. Hahaha.. But I will still buy the toy eventually..
Starkasm - 3/10/2014, 12:09 AM
I already have the premium format Cap from TFA so I might skip this one and just get WS and maybe the stealth suit.
ChivesMcKay - 3/10/2014, 12:28 AM
@TheRealistStarLord They added the third stripe for this movie. I dont know why. I think it looks crowded.
NetmanTripleSec - 3/10/2014, 12:38 AM
I love that there's a stripe going right up the middle. That's been a trademark of nearly all Cap suits from the comics.

I hope we see a version of his suit that's closer to the comics as far as style/design goes, stars and stripes and all, in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

@ChivesMcKay
Early captain America had a ton of stripes and you think 3 looks crowded.

venomvsspidey11 - 3/10/2014, 12:45 AM

CantRainAllTheTime94 - 3/10/2014, 3:08 AM
As amazing as this is can they finally show arkham city and amazing spider-man 2?! I would kill for a sandman and doc ock. Ya know, if I had a few hundred dollars to blow having any of these
SuperCat - 3/10/2014, 3:51 AM
Want one.

Gary8264 - 3/10/2014, 4:39 AM
Jack Kirby once said to draw Cap correctly, you always put a red stripe down the center of the abdomen. I thin' this and the stealth uniform look great. I hope they keep this design for A:AOU, or 'least mostly this design. If they feel the need to modernize it I hope it doesn' stray too far off.
Pheezmatic - 3/10/2014, 5:04 AM
@venomvsspidey OUCH! Double Fail buddy....
Pheezmatic - 3/10/2014, 5:07 AM
Agreed! Only 2 stripes was definitely one of the weaknesses of the First Avenger suit. Glad they fixed it for this movie. Makes it almost perfect.
VictorHugo - 3/10/2014, 5:09 AM
hehe i haven´t even saved enough money to buy the first Captain America hot toy yet :)
AlphaDean - 3/10/2014, 5:36 AM
Yes. I will have one of those
kevberg - 3/10/2014, 5:43 AM
Glad the movie added the extra red stipe to the costume..it was too much of a void withe white on his abdomen.

this looks just right.
ibravosp5 - 3/10/2014, 5:45 AM
Yes! I can't wait to see what the falcon and winter soldier figures look like and come with. I already have an idea how cap, nick fury, and black widow might look so that'll be cool too
TheMexicanSuperman - 3/10/2014, 6:04 AM
I wonder why they would hide the figure when we already know how the figure looks like?
VictorHugo - 3/10/2014, 6:13 AM
MexicanSuperman: this is called "Romance"
TheMexicanSuperman - 3/10/2014, 6:32 AM
@VictorHugo, haha I guess.
TheAbomination - 3/10/2014, 6:33 AM
I wonder how much money they spend on these kind of figures?
Philvis - 3/10/2014, 6:57 AM
Why didnt they have these 30 years ago when I was a kid...and at a $2.99 price point of course!
ALmazing - 3/10/2014, 7:07 AM
Jaspion - 3/10/2014, 9:02 AM
Now all they have to do is paint the gloves and boots red and maybe cover his neck.
antoineflemming - 3/10/2014, 9:04 AM
This isn't a spoiler. They show that one on one showdown in the trailers.
CaptainSporty - 3/10/2014, 12:43 PM

this updated sotume is so good its almost perfect . they changed the shoulders they took off buckles , theirs less strpas , they added a stripe , removed some grey lines from the chest , removed the quilted pattern from the shoulders , made the blue part on bicep tighter and removed the belt buckles that it had their . THEY did an awesome JOB! its perfect for this movie and the suit is almost perfect to be in the avengers 2 but it needs updated pants and gloves and maybe a chain mail like on the blue chest but keep the same helmet .
