In Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne was nurtured by Michael Caine's Alfred, but for Zack Snyder's take Jeremy Irons ("Lolita") will be serving Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne. In the video above the British actor reveals that the script for Snyder's untitled Batman/Superman film is not yet complete. Which seems a bit odd since we know filming has commenced a few days ago in Michigan for this Man of Steel sequel.
But, he did say twice he doesn’t believe the script is finalized. Says Irons, “The script isn’t entirely finished… I’ve read a script. I think it’s not finalized yet.”

In regards to acting opposite of Ben Affleck, a high profile casting for Batman which has certainly generated a lot of chatter, Irons says, “I think [his casting] is a wonderful idea. He’s a lovely man and an interesting actor. I’m looking forward to getting to know him. I’ve only met him once.” - manofsteelfanpage.com

While the script may not be complete there is a bit of good news, the Batmobile is said to be all set and ready to go.
Salapatas-Metz also confirmed that Ben Affleck’s new Batmobile is finished and currently “under wraps”. Check out the video above for more. The question comes up around the 1:16:25 mark, but pressing “play” should automatically take you there. - batman-news.com

TheManFromMars - 3/12/2014, 10:38 AM
Like Iron Man then.

The site crash made me sit down an' reflect on a lot of shit. I mean, where do our avatars go when we cease to exist? Is there a CBM afterlife, or is that just some bullshit concept we came up with because we- as beings with a greater sense of self-awareness than your average poodle- have the capacity to do so, and an aching desire to seek comfort in laughably obtuse fairy tales?

Does cipher drink too much.. or not enough? Why is cipher speaking in the third-person, and is that truly an indication of a greater sense of self, or just the cruel illusion of free will? We're alone.. so, so alone...

Ignore me.
batcheeks8 - 3/12/2014, 10:38 AM
In before people start whining: Iron Man started filming without a script
TheManFromMars - 3/12/2014, 10:39 AM
As long as they have the basic plot structure ready, they should be good.
TheManFromMars - 3/12/2014, 10:40 AM
@cipher

That's some Jacky stuff right there.

They haven't finished the script?

MsDarkPhoenix - 3/12/2014, 10:45 AM
CBM crush made me go to the dark places of tumblr, the ones that I was trying to avoid... I have made a conclusion: gusto is a saint compared to these horny teenage girls!! Thor and Loki having sex?? No thank you!! How about the bee stings baby? That one is cute!!

I have traumas!!!!!!!! And surprisingly, gusto isn't the one to blame!!!

Bud light is shit!
deanwilkins - 3/12/2014, 10:47 AM
I can't imagine the dialogue in the film even requires a script. Look at Man of Steel. Superman will just scream in every scene and Batman will be dark and brooding.

I really hope this movie will make up for the disaster that was MOS.

Bud Light does suck. Paps Blue Ribbon!

Oh my god you guys it's not like it takes 7 damn years to write a script! They're filming next month so they have plenty of time to finish it.
batcheeks8 - 3/12/2014, 10:50 AM
I devide my time between CBM and Tumblr.. to keep my sanity
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 3/12/2014, 10:51 AM

Tubmlr sucks, CBM keeps your sanity in check for you.
MsDarkPhoenix - 3/12/2014, 10:56 AM
I mostly spend my time on the internet on CBM and Tumblr. But even on Tumblr I mostly see comic book related stuff or Supernatural, Doctor Who, Sherlock. Just the simple things! But the hardcore fandoms have all that fan fic gay porn which is sick!!! These drawings of Thor and Loki are still haunting me... I'll stick to the comics!!
Pasto - 3/12/2014, 10:56 AM
Trent Reznor for music director.

Hahahahaha, this is true. Sometimes you just need to drink 3000 of some shit.
MsDarkPhoenix - 3/12/2014, 10:58 AM
@Gusto Thor [frick]ing Loki isn't exactly my thing but to each his own I guess
cipher - 3/12/2014, 10:59 AM
Why even bother keeping your sanity in check? That's one less thing to worry about once it's gone.
batcheeks8 - 3/12/2014, 11:00 AM
@Pasto

that's where you're wrong... Tumblr can be a lot of fun ;)
Pasto - 3/12/2014, 11:02 AM
Sanity? I don't need no sanity.

WRONG.. plus every good gifset that was ever posted here came from Tumblr, no doubt :P

Twitter rulez. I got Beast to follow me for 2 seconds, a fight with Paul Dini, and Chris Gore follows me (I tell those stories all the time).

Bravado,

Who's the chica?
MsDarkPhoenix - 3/12/2014, 11:11 AM
Twitter is good but Tumblr is fun, especially if you are a SuperWhoLock :P

(And as long as you avoid weird fan fiction!)

TheHeat- Barbara Palvin. She's yoss' muse. Mine too, come to think of it.

Every time you say her name, a unicorn is born.
AsgardianHobo - 3/12/2014, 11:13 AM
Like MrBlackJack said, no need to panic. They will get it done.

The only concern I have is that it seems like they decided to throw in all these JL characters in at the last second, and it seems like they are wondering how they are gonna actually do it.
MrNiklander - 3/12/2014, 11:14 AM
Big deal do you happen to know how many drafts they are working on actual movies?!For all we know Irons probably meant that he read a first draft script the ''shooting script'' will be there when they start filming
CommanderShepard - 3/12/2014, 11:25 AM
I am a DC fan and a CB fan, and I loved MoS. But this movie is sure giving off the vibe of being a train wreck. I hope it will be awesome, but there is very little "positive" news about this movie.
RamonSuarez - 3/12/2014, 11:34 AM
Uh-Oh filming started and script not finished?

Not good when the actor wanted to rewrite it beforehand.
Vaportrail - 3/12/2014, 11:34 AM
Ehh Iron Man didn't have a finished script either.
It's probably just finalizing of scenes they're shooting later, but the ones they are shooting will be unaffected by the changes they want to make.

Kind of normal in today's fast-paced industry. I'm not concerned just yet.
