“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” will pick-up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.

Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” features an outstanding supporting cast that includes Sebastian Stan (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Black Swan”) as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie (“The Hurt Locker,” “Million Dollar Baby”) as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Cobie Smulders (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “How I Met Your Mother”) as Agent Maria Hill, Frank Grillo (“Zero Dark Thirty”) as Brock Rumlow and Georges St-Pierre (“Death Warrior”) as Georges Batroc. Rounding out the talented cast are Hayley Atwell (“Captain America: The First Avenger”) as Peggy Carter, Toby Jones (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “The Hunger Games”) as Arnim Zola, Emily VanCamp (“The Ring 2,” “Revenge”) as Agent 13 and Maximiliano Hernández (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “Thor”) as Agent Jasper Sitwell.

Awesome, but what's the difference between this and the First Cap movie figure.
jimoakley666 - 3/17/2014, 5:53 AM
Looks cool. Don't do toys, though. Well. Other than Lego, but that's therapeutic.
kevberg - 3/17/2014, 5:55 AM
the differences are there..look closely.
npamusic - 3/17/2014, 5:55 AM
@GallifreyanHero the third strip and the fact that it looks more cloth-like. The suit he has on is one that is featured in CA:TWS
MexicanSuperman - 3/17/2014, 5:56 AM
@GallifreyanHero, if you don't know, then you are dumb.
jimoakley666 - 3/17/2014, 5:57 AM
@Gallifrey - This one is based upon the museum suit that Cap nicks in Winter Soldier. This suit is something the museum made when they tried to recreate Cap's WW@ look but didn't get it quite right. Look at the torso red stripes. The grey straps going over his shoulders next to his neck, the lack of holster. Few other bits n bobs too.
Pasto - 3/17/2014, 5:57 AM
I hope this is his suit in the next film.
jimoakley666 - 3/17/2014, 5:58 AM
@TheMexican - Bit harsh.

I hope they make a figure for "James Buchanan Barnes"(40's) and one for "The Winter Soldier". ;)
Scarilian - 3/17/2014, 6:14 AM
The face is off - which throws off the look of the whole figure. Especially considering that is the only part that they needed to get right to actually make a Captain America figure. The costume seems fairly accurate considering its pretty much the same as their figure for the first Captain America film figure - but the face is wrong and that's unacceptable on a figure at such a price.

Can Winter Soldier take out The Dark Knight as the best ComicBookMovie of all time?
We shall see

Wish they had these when I was a kid. I found my old captain america toy the other day used to have him and ghost rider battle hulk and wolverine
MexicanSuperman - 3/17/2014, 6:31 AM
@ Pasto, haha. I wouldn't rank Green Lantern and Ironman 3 among those great achievements in film. Those 2 films are shit. Catwoman, now that is a film.
Pasto - 3/17/2014, 6:34 AM
Power Rangers is an Oscar Winning film in my book. 10 out of 10.

I figured the outfit was going to resemble The First Avenger 1/6 scale. It is too close to think about spending over $200 on this one since I already have the fist one. Besides that, when Hot Toys makes the face sculpt showing teeth, it just looks way too wierd. And that face it nothing close to Chris Evans likeness. The only way I would have even thought about getting this is if they had more accessories to go with it, but not the case. Hoping and PRAYING that the Stealth outfit and The Winter Soldier scale is 100% better cause that is where my money is going. Not really impressed with this one as a collector of Captain America figures.

@GallifreyanHero:

"Awesome, but what's the difference between this and the First Cap movie figure?"

.........

This is the limited Edition Hillbilly version by the look of the toy's teeth.
