According to Variety, 20th Century Fox has brought Olivia Milch on board to rewrite the script for Queen & Country. She's taking over writing duties for John Rogers, who penned the original script. The movie will be an adaptation of Greg Rucka's graphic novel of the same name. It was published by Oni Press and won the prestigious the 2002 "Best New Series" Eisner Award. Ellen Page ("X-Men: Days of Future Past") will star as 'Tara Chace' in the spy-thriller. Her character is described as a tough-as-nails, female version of Jason Bourne.
Queen & Country - An espionage drama, and ongoing series, set in the fictional British Secret Intelligence Service, focusing on a squad of three Special Operations Officers, codenamed “Minders”, and in particular, focusing on the life of Minder Two (later to become Minder One), a woman named Tara Chace. Queen & Country: Operation Broken Ground won the 2002 Eisner Award for Best New Series. Queen & Country has grown into something of a cottage industry, with comics and novels (A Gentleman’s Game and Private Wars). In addition to the regular title, three associated mini-series have been written—Declassified I, Declassified II, and Declassified III (with Declassified III written by the incredibly talented Antony Johnston). - gregrucka.com

Yeah FOX is much better doing comic book adaptions of less known comic books. I've actually read this and like Page as an actress, hope it all fits together well on screen.

Yo, jackass! GTFO. I'm pretty [frick]ing sure she can pull this off. This isn't some ditzy talentless whore. This is Ellen Page. Look I respect your opinion. If you think this is bad casting: who gives a crap, say whatever you want. But the one minute you start disrespecting an artist by calling them a "hack". That's when I gotta step in. Art is hard. Some people do it wrong that's why allot of us are on this site. To rant about our opinions of bad art and bad artists. We know the good ones and the bad ones. She is no where near being even considered a bad artist. And while we're on the subject regarding the level of difficulty concerning art lets talk about acting. Acing is hard. I see shitty female actresses everyday in adds that are getting payed so much money because people are going to see their awful films because they gave a blowjob to Michael bay or something and they are BAD, I mean wow try American anime dub level of bad. Call them hacks all you want, why? Because they don't know what art is. Next time you call a true artist a hack. Make sure you know what kind of art you've done. So many movies of hers have made me want to cry laugh and I just have a damn good time watching her in allot of things she's done like many. That's what a good true actress does and that's what a good true artist does. I don't know many who can do what she can do besides a select few. She's a genius. Far from a hack.

I really liked the comics. I love Ellen Page. I think it's damn weird to cast her for the role. But I guess I'll likely watch it anyways.
