'Mockingbird' For AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2; More Cast Members Announced

Several cast announcements were made for the upcoming second season of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Not only has Xena: Warrior Princess actress Lucy Lawless's role been revealed, but we found out who the next main baddie will be. Plus, Bobbi Morse, aka Mockinbird, may just turn up too..

Secret Warriors villain Daniel Whitehall, aka Kraken. In the comics Kraken was actually a founding member of Hydra, who was killed and replaced by Jake Fury. Who knows how the show will utilize him, but I think the Hydra connection is sure to remain intact. Also, the lovely Lucy Lawless will be playing Isabel Hartly, and Brit newcomer Nick Blood will play Lance Hunter. Plus - though there's no casting as of yet -- it's been confirmed that Mockingbird will likley show up next season. Here are the Tweets from Mavel's own Agent M, and the teaser vid.

This show has a huge amount of potential for improving significantly in season 2. I can't wait to see how SHIELD is affected.

Pretty excited about Lucy Lawless being in Agents of SHIELD. Always love that sexy, VERY intelligent lady!

And cannot wait for Agents of SHIELD starts the next season. I am looking forward to some REALLY cool stuff, and we can all look forward to the series' scheduling being on a more even keel this season.

Marvel has so many villains, I just don't know why they are holding so much back even though Kraken may end up awesome. I do think Alona Tal would be a great Mockingbird if she shows up.
