We've already heard quite a bit from Bryan Singer regarding X-Men: Days Of Future Past, though the director is always careful enough not to spill TOO many details. Such is the case with his latest interview with Collider, but he does drop one or two new tidbits. About the shoot time-frame, Singer says: “I start shooting April 15th in Montreal, probably until October," followed by, "It’s a big movie. It’ll be the biggest movie I’ve ever made.” As for the movie's timeline, we already heard that part of the story would be set in the '70s and Singer confirms this, adding, “Richard Nixon’s in it, that’ll be an interesting casting choice… There’ll also be some more science-fiction-type aspects to the story and, without giving it away, some technology that we haven’t seen yet in the X-Men universe.” Just use better makeup than they did on Watchmen and it'll be fine! He doesn't reveal whether any more cast members from his previous X-movies will return, but says he got the impression that everyone he has spoken to about it was "kind of excited to come back". There's more from Singer over at Collider, including details on him taking the job in the first place, so be sure to click on the link below to check it out.

I'm hopeful for this movie, and these nothing wrong with using social media to keep the public interested in your coming movie. I'd be a total media whore if I was making a movie.
NovaCorpsFan - 2/13/2013, 12:13 PM
Are the Brotherhood gonna attempt to kill Nixon?

i am realistically hoping singer can prove haters wrong make a x-film little can complain about full of mythos

but this wont be spearheading a bunch of movies to rival marvel studios ive been thinking about what mark millar said about wolverine being their iron man and that doesn't make sense

Well it has been sounding pretty large scoped. And yay! to Richard Nixon. That guy was an awesome part of that era. That Nixon in Watchman was hilarious @RorMachine.
Optimus83 - 2/13/2013, 12:56 PM
equal to Watchmen. ...nothing original
RorMachine - 2/13/2013, 1:05 PM
Yes, Watchmen was the first movie to ever depict Richard Nixon as a character.. including Nixon with Anthony Hopkins:)

Don't forget Frost/Nixon.

Bryan Singer has got to be the most bland, generic major filmmaker working today. I don't know if it's his dp's fault, his direction, the digital cameras, or what. But even films he just produces like First Class look like made for tv movies.

Say what you want about Michael Bay, at least his films LOOK great.

Hopefully there will be a Vietnam scene in there somewhere. Would love to see a bit of mutant action in the jungle!

So it won't be 1963 and Kennedy, but 1974 and Nixon, then I have to watch ,,Assassination of Richard Nixon" first.
Ghostfire - 2/13/2013, 2:33 PM

Very interesting. Can't wait to see how it pans out.

When he gets the job of consultant, Mark Millar promises a more cohesive universe amongst the Marvel properties that Fox owns and now Bryan Singer promises "some technology that we haven’t seen yet in the X-Men universe.” I'm calling it now, Dr. Doom's Time platform!
kemuael - 2/13/2013, 3:46 PM
hmm taking this with a pinch of salt.
