GAME OF THRONES Cast Sing Theme Song; Martin Confirms The "Red Wedding"

Here we have an amusing vid of some of the Game Of Thrones cast members doing a rendition of the opening them song to the HBO series. Also, George R.R. Martin confirms that we will indeed see the infamous red wedding this season..

On the Game Of Thrones season 3 premiere red carpet last night, Song Of Ice And Fire creator George R.R Martin discussed writing for the tv show. Last year he penned the penultimate season 2 episode, "Blackwater", and this time he worked on the seventh ep of season 3 which will be titled "The Bear And The Maiden Fair". But while speaking to Zap2it.com about this, he also revealed which episode he is glad he DIDN'T have to write - at the same time confirming that it will definitely happen this season - the one featuring the controversial "red wedding".



"It would have been very hard for me to write that episode again, but fortunately David and Dan wanted to write that episode, so I didn't fight them on it. That was a very tough thing to write it the first time."


Alos, MTV Geek have this video of some cast members singing the theme song. It's a lot funnier than it sounds..or maybe that's just me!

The "Red Wedding" doesn't bother me that much. Robb Stark is one of my least favorite characters. The third book is being split into two seasons and I'm just hoping that Joffrey "buys it" this season. Enough of Joffrey, already. More Daenys, Jon Snow, Thyrion and Arya. Also, Stannis and that crazy, red-headed witch who can shoot smoke phantoms out of her "hoo-hoo".

The Red Wedding is far from romantic.......totally turns the narrative on it's head. I am still in shock after reading it....but later on what happens to Jamie and Tywin...OMG !

I actually quit reading George Martin after the Red Wedding...not because I was upset, but at that point, he's switched lead antagonists so many times, I was like "ok, too much to do in the day, taking too long to get vested for you to just keep doing this with these characters." I'm just glad the tv show doesn't require that effort and I can enjoy it..,

I mean I get that he's a creative writer, and am idea guy, but anybody who says his books are easy to follow is crazy, and I love to read! After the second book, and then later the third and red wedding, my college behavoriol psychology books were more interesting...

Kinda annoyed that the show nerfed Arya, she is way more bad ass in the books.

Here is violinist Lindsey Stirling (whom I have seen in concert she is AMAZING) and Peter Hollens do Game of Thrones.



They both did Skyrim together as well. Lindsey also has done Lord of the Rings, Phantom of the Opera, Assassins Creed and her most requested, THe Legend of Zelda. She also has original stuff too check her out.

The Red Wedding turns the entire WORLD upside-down.

And wait 'til you see the way Tyrion says bye bye to his papa.

And, Cersei DOES walk naked through the streets of Kings Landing but doubting we will see that actress nude, which is a shame.
