EXCLUSIVE: A Snap From Norman Osborn's Penthouse; Plus New TASM 2 Plot Details

The following snap from the set of Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man sequel is from Norman Osborn's (Chris Cooper) apartment. These are some marble panels that had just been placed on the wall, and apparently all present at the time seemed to feel they may represent a bit of Green Goblin foreshadowing. We've also received some new info on both Osborn and Max Dillon/Electro, but it's pretty SPOILERY so if you don't want to know anything more about these characters don't read on past the pic.

Last time we reported that Norman Osborn will not become the Green Goblin in the movie, but there would be a lot of hints and foreshadowing. Well now we're told that there WILL be some type of "Goblin suit" involved, but whether he actually wears it or not is unknown. We also have more details on Max Dillon's (Jamie Foxx) transformation into Electro: Apparently it happens as a result of Oscorp experiments with electric eels! Somehow Dillon winds up with the little blighters in that tank that Marc Webb tweeted a picture of a while back, and voilà, Electro is born. We're also told that Dillon's overbearing mother will play a role in the story. That's all for now, but we'll have more info soon enough I'm sure.

superotherside - 4/23/2013, 7:22 AM
Another sympathetic villain? That gets powers by accident? Can't we just have a thug that gets superpowers on purpose? Just once?
superotherside - 4/23/2013, 7:23 AM
It's like they want to base everything off of Spectacular, but they don't take much of the good stuff. Or at least they don't do it the right way IMO.
KarlRobinofEarth2 - 4/23/2013, 7:24 AM
Yes another sympathetic villain, most every comics villain is sympathetic especially spidermans.
YourMomsFavorite - 4/23/2013, 7:25 AM
isnt that how most Spider man villians are done? and Marvel in general? That they arent all evil people, just bad things happend to them and they make bad decisions? But I feel you sometimes evil just needs to be evil no gray area...IE give us Carnage! lol
YourMomsFavorite - 4/23/2013, 7:28 AM
I'm looking forward to this movie tho, wasnt a huge fan of the 1st one tho I went to see it...but hopefully this one is a lot better! and I'm cool with no green goblin in this one, but dont kill gwen till he becomes GG...just saying....
thejon93rd - 4/23/2013, 7:32 AM
Sounds good. Here's hoping that they do have Green Goblin make appearance, but, if they do, I sure hope they can keep it somewhat of a secret until the movie arrives in 2014. If he does pop up, there's only one story specifically from the comics that I can see them following... involving a bridge (hint, hint).
SkywayTraffic - 4/23/2013, 7:32 AM
FuturePast is a cockgobbler
TheFirstAvenger97 - 4/23/2013, 7:33 AM

Somebody ban this [frick]ing prick. [frick] off @FuturePast you [frick]ing [foo foo]
jerryblake - 4/23/2013, 7:34 AM
if this is a dr. Manhattan kind of accident then i don't mind, really. Human mistake, i mean. But if it is another "wrong place, wrong time situation" - then [frick] it.

Or maybe Matt was trying to kill himself, because of the issue he had with his mother that day.

Also was wondering how they gonna explain Norman's goblin obsession. This is interesting. The wall looks similar to Rorschach test.
centurybrkdwn - 4/23/2013, 7:34 AM
Ban @FuturePast's email not just his username
centurybrkdwn - 4/23/2013, 7:38 AM
Stop him from signing up again

Tainted87 - 4/23/2013, 7:39 AM
Oh Jesus.

Now I'm curious about Rhino, and Green Goblin for that matter.... and that's not in a good way.
caveman - 4/23/2013, 7:39 AM
SPOILER ALERT:

FuturePast doesn't get laid tonight.
SHHH - 4/23/2013, 7:42 AM

SpectacularJoShFest - 4/23/2013, 7:42 AM
FuturePast go [frick] yourself you stupid ass retard ban this motherfuucker from the site, ban his IP or whatever
centurybrkdwn - 4/23/2013, 7:43 AM
Honestly, I don't particularly want to see Goblin in this as such. A tease at the end would satisfy me enough and then go all put in the 3rd. I want sinister 6 so badly, any news on that?
RorMachine - 4/23/2013, 7:43 AM
Sorry guys, while Jim and Nate are away we don't have the power to ban anyone, just report and delete them. If they persist in being unbelievable pieces of shit like Futurepast there's very little we can do aside from deleting their posts when we catch them. My advice is just quickly scroll past his posts when u see them.
centurybrkdwn - 4/23/2013, 7:45 AM
This is why @FuturePast can't have nice things.
CaptainAmerica31 - 4/23/2013, 7:49 AM
Lol GTFO futurepast
RamonSuarez - 4/23/2013, 7:50 AM
I was watching Spiderman 2 last night for a little bit on FX while TASM was on Starz. It became so apparent how much better and more substantial Raimi's Spiderman was over Webb's. I think Spiderman 2 just might be the greatest comic movie ever. It never loses its luster for me. I'd rank it tops with Batman Begins and the Avengers or Iron Man.
RamonSuarez - 4/23/2013, 7:53 AM
@earzmundo

You're so sad. This has nothing to do with Intruder. It has to do with idiotic trolls who have zero class. This guy was pissed off about the Walking Dead spoilers posted on the headlines in this site and is now sh-tting on Iron Man 3 as retaliation. What's even sadder is that you applaud him.
jerryblake - 4/23/2013, 7:53 AM
SPOILER !!!

@FuturePast is a moron.
shadearts - 4/23/2013, 7:58 AM
Futurepast u really are a funny dick glad I scrolled through quick well I guess its time to go on a 2weeks hiatus till I see it IM3 on this site or just read the headlines
jerryblake - 4/23/2013, 8:01 AM

Probably the same person, 8th year old kid sitting behind daddy laptop.
jlabatman - 4/23/2013, 8:02 AM
FuturePast-JabbatheHutt, still posting spoilers like a little bitch? Peter puffing milky licker!
MrMartinMarvel - 4/23/2013, 8:02 AM
Did I miss another guy spouting off Iron Man 3 spoilers? Anyway call me a conspiracy theorist, but the pattern on the wall looks like it "means something".
Godzillafart - 4/23/2013, 8:04 AM
Oh, I see Futurepast is dick.
IIIAdamantiumIII - 4/23/2013, 8:06 AM
wow it looks like a goblin face!
Godzillafart - 4/23/2013, 8:07 AM
I would say FuturePast's particular type of douchebaggery is grounds for a permanent ban.
MrReese - 4/23/2013, 8:08 AM
tree of life had eels?? I know it had rhinos.I'm open to this Jamie's a good actor.
RorMachine - 4/23/2013, 8:09 AM
Futurepast, I'm not Jim..you're spamming my article not his. I don't post spoilers. So kindly [frick] off and die down a well.
jerryblake - 4/23/2013, 8:09 AM
@Godzillafart

He's not dick. This guy is in love. But Galactus said NO.

He don't wanna be with you man. Let it go. Just ... slide
EXODUZ - 4/23/2013, 8:10 AM
So, because of a personal vendetta you decide to ruin a film for everyone..? Yes, that's a sure fire way to make sure people sympathise with you. We're all going to support you now..

..dick
DanteSparda - 4/23/2013, 8:11 AM
That wall looks creepy as hell, I'm sure one of the Osborns will end up hallucinating goblin faces in that wall.
jerryblake - 4/23/2013, 8:13 AM
wonder - what started Norman's goblin obsession ?
