this needs to happen i said that if luk cage where to appear in a future marvel movie the rock should play him. marvel would be complete and utter idiots to deny this man this role i really really really want the rock to be luke cage hes just awesome.

niklander- tyler crews would also be a good choice i saw a good fan made poster of him as luke cage but the rock is my number 1 choice.

Not to sound racist, but I want a black guy who actually is black playing Luke Cage, BUT I don't think he has to be black. Unlike Black Panther who MUST be ALL THE WAY black, no exceptions.

I can see Rock in the role, but id go with Crews or Isiah Mustafa (old spice guy) since he lobbied for the role a couple of years ago and even made his own fan made trailer (tho it has since been taken down). Tyrese from Walking Dead also recently said he wants to play Cage as well.

I find it hilarious that there are some that don't want the Rock to play Luke Cage because "he's not black enough" however those same people are ok with Michael B. Jordan playing Johnny Storm.

I don't really think "The Rock" when I look at Like Cage. And I like Terry Crews, but I think Chad Coleman (Tyrese on Walking Dead) has been campaigning for that part too. I'd rather see him in that role; or an outright unknown. Luke Cage is a bit more reserved in his demeanor. The Rock and Crews should play other characters, I just don't which ones.

This could be an awesome buddy-buddy superhero film. The Rock as Luke Cage and Ray Park as Danny Rand being street level heroes in the MCU while the bigger heroes are busy with the world.

Nope! To remain consistent on what I always say. He needs to be played by a black actor. The Rock is a decent enough actor, but nope... I would LOVE to see Terry Crews in this role! The guy has a great range and totally looks the part.

Well, he is at least half Black(The other half samoan) so i wouldn't mind him as Luke Cage at all.. But i would prefer Terry Crews!
