Marvel Studios’ “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

Hopefully GoTg 2 comes before Thor 3. That way they can introduce Beta Ray Bill in GoTG2, so he can get the hammer in Thor 3.

Thor is the most interesting Avenger of movie universe to date, to me, and Asgard is too good of a world to waste it on a poor comercial movie.

Please explain how it served no purpose?
Unlike Talia, her and bane were for the exact same thing it just shifted for a whole 5 minutes -_-

I thought the Mandarin twist was smart and served the story well.

It's so similar to the Iron Man 3 one
1. cool sound effects before logo appears
2. logo continues moving like a gif
3. black clouds and lightning from Thor 2 is just so similar to the rust and arc reactor light flickering of Iron Man 3
