Mackenzie Gray's Role In MAN OF STEEL Revealed

When the actor announced that he had a secret role in Zack Snyder's reboot, many speculated that he'd be playing Lex Luthor, then a Brainiac rumor popped up, but it turns out he won't be either of them! Click on to find out who Gray will play in Man Of Steel.

The latest character that Gray is rumored to be portraying in Man Of Steel is Jax-Ur -- a rogue Kryptonian scientist who joins up with General Zod. Comicbook.com (via Digital Spy) don't cite a source (aside from "online buzz") so it'd be best not to read too much into it until we have more evidence, but I'd say this is more likely than him playing either Lex or Brainiac myself. Jax-Ur has been depicted in several different ways since his debut in DC comics, and popped up in Smallville as a character called Dax-Ur, creator of Brainiac. Could Snyder and co. have similar plans for him in Man Of Steel? Do you think this will even be the character he'll play? Sound off below.

UPDATE: Thanks to CMBer MrShumway, we now have proof that Gray will indeed be playing Jax-Ur. An image and caption from an official Man Of Steel art book confirmed this bit of news--although we have had to take it down due to a copyright request from the art book publisher.
