Yall can't bash the negative reviews... ppl thought the last Superman was gonna be great, and they all ended up hating it.


Only one trailer tried to give you a sense of what the movie will be like. The first group of trailers gave you nothing but soft music.

All i have to say is if it is in a DCCU then I will probably like it if it is a stand alone movie then all bets are off .

There is literally no need for there to be a strong female role in this particular film considering it's concerned -entirely- with Clark's growth as a person into a hero. Why would that even be considered a complaint?

I'm interested in it but keeping low expectations and reminding myself that Zack Snyder has made plenty of films with great trailers but never score more than 75% on Rotten Tomatoes with any of them.

I honestly don't want too much screen time wasted on Lois in this or the sequels anyway. These are superman/Clark kent movies and that's who I came to see.

The Reeves stories were gushing with flimsy romantics between Clark and Lois. Partly adding to the supermen being boring reputation.

I saw it 2 weeks ago at a screening, I don't get the reviewer who said it was abysmal.A lot of comic book movies have damsel in distress, It was a good movie, thats all I have to say.

Why are people posting those fake screens of RT and metacritic? Don't you have anything better to do?

Also, failing the Bechdel Test doesn't mean at all that the movie is bad. Just that it doesn't have strong roles for women (which is a completely different discussion). A lot of great films, like The Social Network, failed that test. The Avengers failes too, but I don't see a lot of people calling the film 'bad' because of that.

I'll wait for real reviews. If they happen to be bad, well, better luck next time DC.

Most CBM's get great reviews before they come out. Look at IM3. I wouldn't feel so confident in this.

Lois must make Superman a sandwich at some point for this feminist broad to have gotten her panties in a bunch.

Either way the movie is about Superman, not Lois Lane or Ma Kent, so that idiots complaint is null and void.

Im with whoever said that people haven't really seen it yet either. Test screenings arent supposed to start till early June, so that makes me slightly suspicious.

So an unnamed movie blogger who hasn't seen the movie has only heard its "abysmal". Lmao ok, seems legit.

Even if the story isn't amazing or whatever, the action alone with be worth watching. Look at Avengers.

Anyway, I'm staying away from reviews, CBM, and pretty much anything talking about Man of Steel for the next two weeks.
