Hans Zimmer To Score Christopher Nolan’s INTERSTELLAR Hans Zimmer To Score Christopher Nolan’s INTERSTELLAR

As many figured/hoped he might, Hans Zimmer will once again work with Christopher Nolan on Interstellar, after providing incredible scores for Inception, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. Collider landed an exclusive interview with the composer and he revealed as much to them when quizzed about it. “I wrote something…and I’m writing that. So, yes, we have started.” Already at work! Like I said, it's probably not too surprising that he's scoring the movie as he now seems to be Nolan's official go-to-guy, but it's nice to have it confirmed. Here's the snippet from a longer video interview which will be up on Collider soon.

Nolan needs to move on. I don't like directors who collaborate too much. But this movie should be awesome nonetheless.

@SuperDude001 "Wow shocker...I'm sorry but this Interstellar better be one hell of a movie otherwise I'm getting very tired of the Nolan formula."

Tim Burton collaborates with Danny Elfman on all of his movies. Steven Spielberg collaborates with John Williams on all his movies. Why is it a problem for Nolan to collaborate with Zimmer?

Lol.. Hans Zimmer scoring Interstellar.. That's like saying "Johnny Depp to star in Tim Burton's next movie with Helena Bonham Carter"..lol.. But that's cool though.. these two make magic. I'm really looking forward to this cos i haven't seen a decent time travel movie in a while. And with Nolan's track record, I hope we get something on par with the first "Butterfly Effect" or better.

if it aint broke, from my understanding he has done an awesome job on man of steel too. His music was one of the main things on TDK trilogy, he was awesome in inception and i cant wait to see what he comes with in interstellar.

Hell yeah. I hope he does something similar to 2001: A Space Oddyssey's score, like with ambient and creeepy sounds in the background.
