Not TOO much here, but Warpath fans will be happy to learn that Singer is keeping his signature weapons for the movie at least. Stewart was at the 203 FilmOut festival in San Diego to premiere his new film White Frog, and while being interviewed on camera afterwards the actor was asked about X-Men: Days Of Future Past. He says he's been practicing "spinning knives", and reveals that it was his performance in White Frog that landed him the role in the first place.

Warpath huh?

But still no Cyclops or Phoenix

LOL
lxgnzlslxgnzls - 6/6/2013, 3:18 PM
he was chosen as warpath not because of the white frog, it was because he was hot and Bryan Singer likes the twinks. Look at this dude. He is hot and in his 20s just the way Singer likes em.
RorMachine - 6/6/2013, 3:23 PM
Yes, that's the real reason. Gay directors don't care about performance...in the movie anyway!! Amarite??

Cretin.
shaunmagg - 6/6/2013, 3:26 PM
I'm sure this is going to be another just stuff in as many mutants in the movie as we can kind of film. Frick you Fox, Frick you....
astromerc - 6/6/2013, 3:27 PM
Gay or not Singer has miss cast this movie and continued to bring the X-Men to ruin.
Vence - 6/6/2013, 3:28 PM
I agree, gay has nothing to do with performances!
DonaldBlake68 - 6/6/2013, 3:29 PM
At least they didn't pick that other dude from Twilight. Hopefully he's good. Never saw those films. Don't intend to.
gambgel - 6/6/2013, 3:35 PM
as long as all the older x-men kick some serious ass and have a few decent lines here and there, I will be happy.

This movie is about two time periods, and its about preventing the dark future, so its not like I need a movie just with deep dialogue and conversations.

This is a EPIC story, and thats what they seem to be doing, so Im glad about it
Hawksblueyes - 6/6/2013, 3:36 PM
And people were worried about The Avengers having too many heroes in it! Are there any mutants NOT in this film?
Hawksblueyes - 6/6/2013, 3:37 PM
This movie should have been titled X-Men:Name Droppin All Ova Da Place!
Ramiel - 6/6/2013, 3:38 PM
If straight directors hire hot women in their movies, then would it not be possible for gay directors to do the same?
DonaldBlake68 - 6/6/2013, 3:41 PM
Sir Ian Mckellen is super gay and he's awesome in everything he's ever touched. So don't hate.
Hawksblueyes - 6/6/2013, 3:45 PM
Dusto If you're going to post pics of me, you should get more than just my nose and mouth in the photo. You blind old bat!
ralfinader - 6/6/2013, 3:46 PM
Thankfully, with the tight, focused casting by Singer, Proudstar will get plenty of screentime...
MrCBM56 - 6/6/2013, 3:49 PM
Haha all you pathetic users judging him because he is gay. If it wasn't for Singer we wouldnt even be getting a Days of Future past movie. He brung X-Men to life in 2000 and that movie Rocked! Not to mention he directed X-Men 2, which is considered a great and one of the best superhero movies of all time. But since he directed one bad superhero movie, (superman returns), he is a horrible director?

But yet most of you support Man of Steel who has Zach Snyder directing, the guy who made Sucker punch, that wack ass owl movie, and 300 ( even though I like that movie, could've been wayyy better).

This site pisses me off sometimes.
BIGBMH - 6/6/2013, 3:49 PM
Hawksblueyes - 6/6/2013, 3:54 PM
That's better. How are you doing old man? Are you still getting your Preparation-H confused with your Denture Cream these days?

I remember the last time you did that, your mouth shrunk up to nothing and you glued your ass closed.
shaunmagg - 6/6/2013, 3:54 PM
X men 2 was not one of the greatest comic book movies of all time. It's par with daredevil and ghostrider. Singer blows both in his personal life and at making X-Men movies
thewonderer - 6/6/2013, 3:58 PM
Love how Singer haters use he's gay as an insult.

Shows how stupid all your insulting always is.
BIGBMH - 6/6/2013, 4:01 PM
shaunmagg- par with daredevil and ghostrider? psh. you just grouped a good movie, a mediocre movie, and a bad movie together.

RT Scores

X2- 87%
Daredevil- 45%
Ghost Rider- 26%
MrCBM56 - 6/6/2013, 4:05 PM
Really? X2 on par with daredevil? Gtfo!
inkslinger616 - 6/6/2013, 4:06 PM
Really?! With all of the terrible choices Singer has made as a director and you choose his sexual orientation to attack him on a site that is dedicated to film? You my friend are [frick]in ignorant
TheClemster - 6/6/2013, 4:10 PM
Hum Gusto maybe Teabag's modelling career wasn't great but yours was stellar ...

TheRationalNerd - 6/6/2013, 4:10 PM
Wow, I guess I'm decades late but I never knew Singer was gay. But I mean hey his sexuality has nothing to deal with this film. Can't wait to see what he brings to this film! Lets get it! X-Men: Days of Future Past for the win of summer 2014!!!!!!! :D

I've also been thinking about what may possibly happen within this X-Men film lately. Seeing wolverine in the 70's setting indicates two things to me...

1.) Could Wolverine become a member of the X-Men during the 70's timeline?

2.) Will Wolverine be one of the members to time travel back to the past and join the X-Men to stop the assassination of the president?

I'm starting to think that sequel after Days of Future Past will resolve around the next generation like 80's I'm guessing and it will be here where Bishop or Cable will time travel back to the past to bring the X-Men to the future for a possible Age of Apocalypse film??

Or perhaps Bishop will travel to the past to have the X-Men jump to the future or present day to prepare for the coming of Apocalypse??

Either way I see Apocalypse as being the next big baddie for the X-Men. What do you guys think???
Odin - 6/6/2013, 4:14 PM
That guy should so be Zuko in(possible)avatar reboot.
TheClemster - 6/6/2013, 4:18 PM
still got it though Gus hey???? :)

shaunmagg - 6/6/2013, 4:21 PM
Ok I may have over exaggerated a little with daredevil and Ghost Rider. Still, X2 was crap.
TerminalVoyd - 6/6/2013, 4:22 PM
@Doom

Cyclops, if he shows, will be a surprise. That they caught James Marsden traveling with Halle Berry on her way to the production in Canada is something. As for Phoenix, given Jean pops up in The Wolverine, I think it might be a safe bet she'll pop up.

Neither are major players in this story, but I can imagine both being set up for bigger parts in X4.
Reo5150 - 6/6/2013, 4:52 PM
Huge Proudstar brothers fan. Couldn't agree with you more FrancisHates.
Scorpion8125 - 6/6/2013, 5:03 PM

If your name is BooBoo, shouldn't you just kill yourself?

FoxForce5 - 6/6/2013, 5:10 PM
Eh... not impressed - just more of what I've come to expect of this "foX-Men" crap.
whoa123 - 6/6/2013, 5:19 PM
I think this will not be a faithful adaptation but will be a dam good flick like First Class.
PeterDarker - 6/6/2013, 5:28 PM
Who in the [frick] said the movie will suck because singer is gay? All I saw was he hired this kid because he's hot. Like straight directors don't do that with women? No one ever said it was bad, actually it's smart. Hire some eye candy for the minor roles. If I was a director I'd try to bang every hot actress on set. Why not? If you can't get laid being a successful director, whats the point?
Scorpion8125 - 6/6/2013, 5:34 PM
I am getting frightened.

Gusto ran a list of movies with comments. I agreed with him on all of them.

and here's another. yikes

And Watchmen & 300 were both 9 kinds of Awesome.

Scorpion8125 - 6/6/2013, 5:36 PM
And Singer being a rough rider will not make the movie suck.

Putting way too many characters in it might.

genesis609 - 6/6/2013, 5:38 PM
ROMAN REIGNS FROM THE SHEILD OFF WWE... PERFECT WARPATH
Scorpion8125 - 6/6/2013, 5:43 PM

so did Singer recruit this guy by pulling up to his high school, then offering him some candy & a ride in his big car?

Durango95 - 6/6/2013, 6:20 PM
Let me get this straight..some skinny metrosexual is gonna play a red-blooded,meat eating, ass kicking native american whose last name is Proudstar and alias is Warpath? Good luck with that, kid. Stay out of dark alleys...some comic fans are pretty rabid.
SGTJ1 - 6/6/2013, 6:25 PM
I hope he at least bulks up. Warpath is a big frikkin dude. That guys looks like a Twilight character. I'm hoping this movie turns out to be good. I really enjoyed first class. But I'm wondering who will get the most screen time.
SGTJ1 - 6/6/2013, 6:26 PM
LOL @Scorpion8125...that sh%ts hilarious.
