Ha, awesome, love it when CBM's do well
DutchMovieFan - 6/27/2013, 3:44 AM
Dear lord, is this going to start a huge debate about how "none of those awards matter because TDKR didn't win (insert award)"? That's how things seem to work nowadays
Luminus - 6/27/2013, 3:47 AM
Well deserved
JordanKing - 6/27/2013, 3:51 AM

ABLEE337 - 6/27/2013, 4:23 AM
Best Actress: Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games)???????

Whaaaaatt?

Loved her in Winter's Bone and Silver Linings Playbook, but she was so wooden in The Hunger Games.
That movie does not deserve any awards but the Golden Raspberry.
Priest - 6/27/2013, 4:25 AM
@ Nubase,

So you don't think that a movie with an alien invasion, a super soldier, a gamma radiation green monster, a high tech flying fortress, and alien god-like beings is not sci-fi? Yes, The Avengers is based on comic books, but it is also science fiction.
McNyagano - 6/27/2013, 4:27 AM
@Nubase-"since when is the avengers a sci fi movie?"

JordanKing - 6/27/2013, 4:28 AM
@Nubase Alien invasions, hovering fortresses, beings worshiped as Gods, some guy in a mechanical suit, and another from a different time.

Yeah, i'm not seeing it either.
nowtheresaBATman - 6/27/2013, 4:33 AM
Matthew McCon is a great actor but Best Actor for Killer Joe?????

It's as if they picked names out of a hat for most of these catagories.
JohnTom88 - 6/27/2013, 4:36 AM
Nubase is trying, guys. Really trying...

Fail
TheGambitFreakIsBatmanOfCBM - 6/27/2013, 4:44 AM
@Nubase: Science Fiction (Noun): Literary fantasy involving the imagined impact of science on society.

I'd say this is under the Sci-Fi Category...

ShadowPimp723 - 6/27/2013, 4:45 AM
On a completely different subject. The Vin Diesel article was just takin' down.....again
RorMachine - 6/27/2013, 4:46 AM
C'mon guys, nubase is right...The Avengers is clearly a western.
McNyagano - 6/27/2013, 4:49 AM
@RorMachine

I think it's a horror movie ;)
KidGoku - 6/27/2013, 4:51 AM
So you mean Avengers ISN'T a Romantic Comedy!?!
CoulsonLives - 6/27/2013, 4:54 AM
What? No Ant-Man news?
ParisSun - 6/27/2013, 4:56 AM
Congrats to Jonathan Frakes, the guy has really made a name for himself as a director.

Matthew was great in Killer Joe, a really underrated movie. Very funny and dark.

bretticus21 - 6/27/2013, 4:56 AM
What a joke the Saturn Awards are... The Avengers is way overrated and I'm surprised it has received such praise and adulation. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad movie, but wasn't all that the comic fans make it out to be.
Jefferys - 6/27/2013, 5:11 AM
@spideyboy

Are you serious! Avengers isn't a romantic comedy!? Oh god, my life is a lie, I'm out of here. I suppose everyone's going to start saying that the Saturn Awards are awards for the best in science fiction, fantasy and horror, because I'm fairly sure that the Saturn Awards were for agriculture films.
Fantine - 6/27/2013, 5:12 AM
Congrats Anne Hathaway for Dark Knight Rises she was brilliant in the role of Selina.
Tanngnjostr - 6/27/2013, 5:13 AM
Congratulations to my beloved Anna Torv for best tv actress award...deserved! <3
Killersloth - 6/27/2013, 5:19 AM
@Tanngnjostr agreed, anna torv is great. Cant wait to see what she does next, hopefully movies.
jcfrommars9 - 6/27/2013, 5:25 AM
@bretticus21

But that's exactly what movies are, what we make them out to be.
Tanngnjostr - 6/27/2013, 5:26 AM
@Killersloth Yeah, I'm stalking any site about her waiting for any news of sort
Kjo0212 - 6/27/2013, 5:27 AM
@ nowtheresabatman... Did you see killer joe?? Matthew c'mon was ruthless and loveable the man was fantastic
CoulsonLives - 6/27/2013, 5:51 AM
Also Guardians of the Galaxy news...
fortycals - 6/27/2013, 6:07 AM
Damn I didn't know there was so much hate for revolution around here. With so much shit reality tv on the networks I'm suprised we got a decent tv show that ain't law n order csisvu with criminal intent. Its probably one of my fav, currently running shows, on regular tv.
Godzillafart - 6/27/2013, 6:17 AM
Hathaway did surprise me by knocking it out of the park as Catwoman. I had little faith in her for that role.
Kolossus - 6/27/2013, 6:21 AM
LFMAO at the DC-Nolanite robots who are still butthurt that Avengers was so much better than TDKR and Man of Steel. Man of Steel will win Razzies this year, calling it right now....
symbiotics - 6/27/2013, 6:43 AM
@DutchMovieFan but it did win, for Best Supporting Actress anyway
Godzillafart - 6/27/2013, 6:44 AM
Oh, Kolossus! MOS isn't winning any Razzies. :P
SaxoWolf - 6/27/2013, 6:48 AM
I want a Daredevil movie now Marvel, NOW!
SUPERSHADOWBAT - 6/27/2013, 6:50 AM

SuperDan89 - 6/27/2013, 6:55 AM
