I'd love to see him return as an actual threat on Shield or an Avengers sequel! Maybe he sets up the Masters of Evil with Crossbones, Abomination etc...

Say what you will about RDJ, but to me Rockwell was the best thing about IM2. At first I was put off by his character`s goofiness, but after a few minutes I changed my mind (maybe that`s because I never particularly cared for Justin Hammer of the comic books). Hope he comes back someday.

Rockwell is great in everything he does. Loved him in GALAXY QUEST. Would be funny to see a post-prison Justin Hammer all strung out and hyper like CREWMAN NO. 6.

Justin Hammer was a highlight in IM2?
Rockwell did fine but just making him another fast talking RDJ character that was forgettable after T-minus 15 seconds. Lave the character in jail.

I would love if they bring him back as Justin Hammer. He was a trillion times better than Rourke's Whiplash, and one of the bright spots of IM2. So if we can see him back in The Avengers than I'm down with him showing up in Shield.

Aside from Loki, Marvel's use of villains in their movies has left a lot to be desired. I'm hoping that changes with Thor: TDW and CA:WS.

Thankfully most are still alive for later use.

Yea, Iron Man 2 is underrated. I still like it and Rockwell is one of those things you start to like more and more on repeat viewings. Mickey Rourke, not so much.

IM3 will be a better watch in December. The single worst aspect about Iron Man 3 was it's connection to Christmas. I felt like I was watching s foreign film with a strange holiday. May or June Christmas movie? Ehhhh.

I dont know, Sam as Justin was okay in Iron Man 2 in his more serious moments and I get that he was supposed to be an evil version of Robert Downey Jr's more humorous Tony but sometimes his more camp behaviour reminded me of Tobey Maguire's rubbish in Spider-Man 3

Namely that stupid dance across the stage

I really wish Robert had have signed up for an Iron Man 4 too, Justin would hire Ghost to take down Tony's company and kill Pepper. then Tony would suit up to fight Ghost and have a more serious re-match with Justin Hammer

It would be good to tie up that loose end, to end the RDJ Iron Man movies

leave a proper Mandarin for a future, non-RDJ Iron Man movie

bring him back for an Avengers film or iron man 4. If it's the avengers, hes the financial support behind the masters of evil, upgrading crossbones weaponry, somhow freeing abomination and the leader, maybe gets control of AIM (so Extremis) and uses the extremis virus on someone (Blizzard?) and a Titanium Man or Crimson Dynamo?
