A Hint Of Quicksilver In New X-MEN: DOFP Production Pic

Not the actual character, but director Bryan Singer has posted a new production snap from X-Men: Days Of Future Past which reveals that at some point in the film we'll be paying a visit to the Maximoff residence. Could Wanda make an appearance too?

One mutant, two movies. All sorts of controversy rained down when it was announced that both Joss Whedon and Bryan Singer would be using Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver in their respective superhero team-up sequels. Although Quicksilver has yet to be cast in The Avengers 2 (rumors point to Aaron Johnson) we know that Kick-Ass actor Evan Peters will play him in X-Men: Days Of Future Past, and above is Singer's first photographic hint of the character...well, his humble abode anyway!

Singer didnt direct Last Stand, or Wolverine origins. get your head outta your ass.

Yes for the Most Part , Superman Returns sucked. so what. Man of Steel was better, great move on.

gambgel - 7/4/2013, 7:31 AM
Loved this tweet!

I seriously need Wanda on this. These three characters together on the big screen would be more than awesome. golden material to develop on some movies.
superotherside - 7/4/2013, 7:34 AM
Jollem That negates your opinion then. ;P
Jollem - 7/4/2013, 7:35 AM
@superotherside - don't judge me, monkey :)
MrCBM56 - 7/4/2013, 7:40 AM
People mad at singer? He directed Xmen, X2, and wrote and I think produced first class. Do the gave Xmen DOFP on the right hands. I'm excited for this film. We get quicksilver and maybe Scarlett witch In not only Xmen DOFP but avengers 2 too! These next two years will be awesome for not just cbm fans, but movie fans in general!

I liked superman returns also.
JordanKing - 7/4/2013, 7:41 AM
Booo hisss!
JackBauer - 7/4/2013, 7:41 AM
Happy Birthday America!

massdeath - 7/4/2013, 7:46 AM
Booooo! Screw you Singer. Good Attempt to get some excitement going for your nonsensical, over the top, crammed to the gills attempt at reviving a long dead franchise. I hope this film bombs. I sure as hell won't be seeding anymore of Fox and Sony's mutilated Marvel films.

Speaking of bombs: is anyone surprised that Lone Ranger bombed? I mean come on it looks awful! Maybe of they made it more clear that it was the same people behind POTC? Lol.

Oh and Superman Returns was ass. Dreadfully boring ass.
UltimateWarrior - 7/4/2013, 7:46 AM
Joellem: I too mostly enjoyed Superman Returns for what it was, which is Superman 3(ignoring original 3&4). Singer's 2 X films are great, First Class is really good, and I hope DoFP is amazing.
MightyZeus - 7/4/2013, 7:47 AM
"Hurray, cameo!!!! I'm so excited to see Quicksilver's cameo in this...wait...but The Avengers wont have Quicksilver as a cameo....hmmm, i wonder which film will be better?"

TheAbomination - 7/4/2013, 7:48 AM
Fvck Singer and his mother.
NitPicker - 7/4/2013, 7:50 AM
@MrCBM56

Yes, people are mad at him. X-Men and X2 were garbage. Days of future past will be garbage too.
CherryBomb - 7/4/2013, 7:50 AM

He may not be too faithful to the comics, but then again, which Director really is? Even Nolan made some huge changes to Batman.

He produced House, which is one of the best shows I've ever seen, so I really can't hate him.

But yeah, Singer's ideas are hit and miss at times. I hope they will introduce Scarlet Witch, it's sorta seems like SW and QS in DOFP are pre-Avengers to me, so that's what I'm rolling with.
MightyZeus - 7/4/2013, 7:51 AM
Singer didnt direct First Class.
If i wanted Superman flying around acting all sad emo for the entire film and stalking Lois Lane and then proceeds to lift a continent of 'Kryptonite'< which is Superman's weakness, it removes all of his powers then yes i'll love Superman Returns. Come on people, Superman Returns was a stupid movie. The only good aspect about the film was 'Kevin Spacey' playing Lex Luthor.
UltimateWarrior - 7/4/2013, 7:51 AM
I hope you're joking man, they made it very clear Lone Ranger was made by the same peeps who made the Pirates movies.
Jollem - 7/4/2013, 7:53 AM
@OldGreg - i agree with those words that you said :)
marvel72 - 7/4/2013, 7:54 AM
x-men 2 is the only very good x-men movie, this movie has so much potential but will it deliver? have to wait & see.
prettynucIear - 7/4/2013, 7:55 AM
Returns was really lame but MoS was a mountain dew commercial compared to superman returns.
Ocelot - 7/4/2013, 7:57 AM
First Class was all Vaughn, dont be giving Singer credit for the best X-MEN film to date it was all Vaughn and the one who should be directing this film. Vaughn wouldn't have turned it into X-MEN 4 or Wolverine 6, he was only going to add in one new mutant. I'm hoping this movie is on the same level as that(First Class).
TheWolverine08 - 7/4/2013, 8:00 AM
The only X Men movie by FOX I'm excited for is the Wolverine. I am not going to see this over stuffed mess.
massdeath - 7/4/2013, 8:00 AM
@oldgreg clearly you missed the "lol" right after?
UltimateWarrior - 7/4/2013, 8:00 AM
Actually Singer was one of the four main producers, and co-wrote the story of First Class, so it's okay to credit him some, he deserves it.
gambgel - 7/4/2013, 8:01 AM
Magneto Scarlet Witch Quicksilver

BAD ASS!!!

If X-Men fans dont want to see this on the big screen, they arent good X-Men fans, lol.

Michael Fassbender, Evan Peters... now we only need Wanda!
sinsear912 - 7/4/2013, 8:01 AM
How is it that you people hate singer but love that hack Nolan??
UltimateWarrior - 7/4/2013, 8:03 AM
Mass: I saw that, but wasn't sure if that was laughing at them, other people, or whatever. Thats why I said I hope you're joking.
UltimateWarrior - 7/4/2013, 8:05 AM
Btw....House isn't that good of a show, it's the same routine every show, with some drama.
Jollem - 7/4/2013, 8:06 AM
ThePowerCosmic - 7/4/2013, 8:07 AM
Why the hell would Pietro or Wanda put their name on the mail box? They were raised by the High Evolutionary at Wundagore mountain for much of thier younger lives not in a happy family with a nice little home.
Jollem - 7/4/2013, 8:09 AM
@ThePowerCosmic - it's probably doing it's own thing, like most every cbm does
gambgel - 7/4/2013, 8:15 AM
@spideyman

And it would be awesome to see 70's team fighting against Magneto, Mystique, Pietro and Wanda.

Badass and iconic brotherhood right there.
ThePowerCosmic - 7/4/2013, 8:16 AM
TheRealRemyLebeau

I agree with you about the X films. They were good for the time that they came out...there was not much to compare them by. Ever since Batman Begins and Iron Man came out We got a new measuring stick with which to compare them by and now I feel they fall far Behind. They should have rebooted after X3 with all new actors and story not that First Class crap.
MrCBM56 - 7/4/2013, 8:17 AM
Nitpicker

Are you crazy? X-Men was average, and X2 was above average and is praised among a lot of critics and is considered ONE OF THE BEST cbm's ever.
NitPicker - 7/4/2013, 8:17 AM
DOFP will be terrible. The Fantastic Four movies are atrocious too.
MightyZeus - 7/4/2013, 8:17 AM
@ThePowerCosmic, Agreed.
This film will be crap.
exe - 7/4/2013, 8:20 AM
Hey, get off Singer's back you fools! He can get a pass for me. Guy directed one of my faves.

The Usual Suspects FTW!
Wrencher - 7/4/2013, 8:20 AM
Maximoff? i thought it was Lensherr on the Singer version of the X-Men.. dafuq?
