in a few months? the draft's supposed to be in a few weeks. but hey, I'm glad they really wanna do the franchise justice and create something us fans will truly enjoy.

Let's keep our fingers (not the streams) crossed.

I hope they make it a tad darker, but really bring the funny! A nice new cast, and a darker, more menevolent villain would be cool to see. (I think "Samhain" would be a wonderful choice, maybe even shoot for a Halloween release just for laughs.)

Should be good as ling as they don't get Seth rogen to be in it

Seth Rogen is the least of our worries, they could get Jack Black!!!

Ror you are my hero. I love reading/watching Ghostbusters news.

I love Jack Black and Seth is growing on me but I am with the masses here. Leave them out of Ghostbusters. I'm not sure who I want but not them.

What do we need here?
1. Smart gullible white guy (akroyd)
2. Super smart white guy (ramis)
4. Womanizer guy (murray)
5. Token black guy (hudson)

I like Paul Rudd but not sure where he would fit in. Maybe the womanizer? And these slots are just for replacements. Then we need to cast for the extra spots like the chicks.

i could tolerate rudd....the rest i dunno. some of the guys from the office or the hangover would work. maybe rain wilson, the guy who plays andy and was also in hangover. those guys can the do the higher brow timing sensetive comedies

I liked how he plugged his movie "Year One" in an interview about Ghostbusters 3....

I think Egon there has a good additude towards this movie, not wanting to just do a third film for the money. I also agree with him on the topic of CGI. It often leaves movies feeling hollow.

As for Ghostbusters in hell, read IDW's Ghostbusters: The Other Side. All the Ghostbusters get shot and killed by ghosts of infamous mobsters.

I am on the fence here. I definitely love Ghostbusters and part of me wants to see that story continued but the other, more rational side of me, knows that these sort of ventures rarely pan out and would rather leave the franchise at two great films rather than Indiana Jones syndrome...BAH!

Well I am excited about the things he was saying... that they don't want to do it for financial reasons, and they want to just make another low budget corky comedy that portrays low tech crime/ghost hunters with good character development... sold me on the idea now.

Please let this be as great as the old ones...I'd hate to see Ghostbusters fall to the Blues Brother's sequel disaster.
